• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Oh pff, I read that as 30 metres, 60 metres.

    Indeed.
Yes! Write, bulbasaur, write! tbh losing the $1/Pokemon isn't devastating if you do it once or twice, but it does add up after a while.
And speaking of reffing, are you going to take me vs. Klutzershy? I don't mind when you take it really; just whenever's convenient for you. I just remember you saying that this week was good.
I... have no idea what that first line means OTL

I actually love to write, but I can never think of storylines or plots or anything, so reffing fills the author-shaped hole in my soul. :D I used to be a lot slower but I've been a ref for a good number of years now. So you'll probably improve on your speed too~
Yeah, pretty much. Of course work and important stuff comes first. And... If I'm on a roll, it takes me half an hour; if I'm feeling slow, or it's more than 1v1, about an hour.
Get into the mood? Do you mean why I first applied, or when I just ref in general? I applied because I felt like it - I had too much free time for my own good and it seemed fun. And I just ref when I have free time. Either that or draw. The mood fades away when I discover more entertaining things to do (less frequent than you'd think), or I've done 2 or more reffings in a day.
Well yeah. I remember there was this one week when I churned out 14 reffings or so. :P Unfortunately my wrist problems are partially because of my addiction to reffing, hurr.
I need to stop reffing and get a good night's sleep. REFFING WHY ARE YOU SO ADDICTING

(so lawyers give people stuff with big walls of text, huh? Remind me of this next time I give you a present or other.)
But that's not reviving, then! That's pulling them from the brink of death. Very big difference.

(also epitome of lawyers right there)
The CND one made me chuckle, though I once read another version that involved pulling letters out of a hat. I liked that version better.

SO THEN WHEN YOU BECOME A LAWYER YOU CAN REVIVE ME ONCE MY ART BECOMES FAMOUS RIGHT
    Forums? What? What are those?

Whoever wrote that is a boss. "I'm sorry we burnt down the White House. You guys rebuilt it! It looks very nice!"

    Can lawyers revive?
bulbasaur if you continue with this you'll kill one of the top contributers at the BfA forums and we will be beaten into a smooth, creamy pulp.

... ISN'T THAT WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS. THE WORLD IS SO UNFAIR.
    I SHOULD REVIVE SOMEHOW
There is nothing left to explode. My eyes are no longer connected to my brain. I can't process whatever you sent me.
(how am I replying to this, you say? Ru along now, nothing to see here)

SO I WILL. IN THE BITTER CANADIAN WINTER.
*HEAD EXPLODES* *PIECES OF HEAD EXPLODE AS WELL* *AND SO ON*

Naw, not yet. I've been in a bit of an art slump lately, actually... I've hardly drawn any full pictures recently.
So if a meteorologist calls for a meter of snow, then I know what's going on.

I've heard of him. But naw, it's not intentional; at least I don't think so. The first time my mom saw her, she commented on how pretty Langlang was, and it just kinda stuck. But even with her hand phobia she is the cutest bird ever and I understand your sentiments of Eek! :33 Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!
    Opposite day blows my mind.

So that's what they teach in meteorology school? Fascinating.

I know right x3 My mom took those pictures. She's named Langlang, which means pretty in Cantonese. And she loves to play with straws and perches on them often. And she's for some reason scared of hands and she'll fly off if you try to pet her, so no.
Imperfect? It is not imperfect. It is quite the opposite.

orly? What type of weather corresponds with which number?

And this is why you should use Word or Notepad or something. :P

My bird? As in my lovebird? Yes she is, why?
You're like "The Walker" in a book I read once, Stoneheart. Doesn't that make you feel special?
Yes, our logic is irrefutable and perfect.

Yeah, because you could have all the talent in the world, but if people aren't aware of your existence then it sucks to be you. Also this is the meteorologist's ultimate tool.

Basically I wrote out the attribute, then my internet crashed. I wrote it out again, my internet crashed. I wrote it out again, my computer crashed. Then I finally learned my lesson and wrote it out in Word. I had a really shitty computer back then...
