  • No, she started out at a fairly high level; you don't find a ton of low-level wailmer around.

I think the extent to which pokémon *need* humans varies a great deal. Wild-caught ones will probably be pretty self-sufficient, but those that are bred in captivity probably wouldn't know how to hunt (and might be disgusted at the idea); and even wild-caught ones come in a wide range of competencies, too. I dunno, while I think it's perfectly fine for a person to kind of let their pokémon wander about and take care of themselves, and you'd want at least a bit of that anyway, what's really the point of being a *trainer* then, you know? If you're not really doing anything with your pokémon... why have them at all?

    Well, that's good, I guess.

I want to post them all too! Just have to get them in postable form.
Ah, right, Wake. She's just a baby, around lv. 30. It's true that Tobias wasn't huge on catching new pokémon, but I tend to suppose that most trainers wouldn't catch nearly as many as people do in the games... real pokémon would require a lot of care and attention, so it would be hard to keep more than a handful around if you weren't just sticking them in the box all the time.

Haha, well, glad you liked it (somewhat), then.

No, it's a chapterfic like the others. You think I'm long, sprawling, and twisty?
Igneous is lv. 36 (he just learned lava plume), while Chevron is lv. 45, and Jinx is lv. 48. Igneous didn't get much training at all since Tobias came back to Waytar, which is why he lags so far behind the group (and he's always been behind); since Accemenla's been off doing her thing for a while, her current level is unknown, but it's probably around 40.

And haha, wow, The Ninetales' Curse is definitely... very old and bad.

But yes, I have three other fanfics that are in some stage of completion that I could start putting up next. One is a PMD 'fic, one is a short RBY-centric 'fic, and the third is a very long, sprawling, twisty thing. I've been going back and forth between whether I want to post the second-to-last one or last one next. For a while Farla was doing an LP of Blue and I was like "I love RBY let's post that one next," but then I was like "oh no I have to play lots more RBY for research first maybe I should post the other one." I might try alternating between the two. But in any case, yes, I'll pretty much finish with Clouded Sky and move immediately into the next thing.
Nah, he said he liked it, but he didn't think it was scary.

Heh, well, the next chapter *is* the epilogue.

Haha, yeah, I imagine most places wouldn't appreciate the criticism.
Yeah, that one. And, all right, I think that episode tended to have more startling moments rather than being truly scary... but he was also unmoved by "The Empty Child," and that absolutely scared the pants off me.

Nah, nothing totally cheap like that, but I find it to be kind of a downer ending myself. People might also find it abrupt. I dunno. You'll just have to see what you think when I post it.

It's pretty stunning all the different RP systems people have come up with, and all the different ways people prefer to play. It just seems like the kind I like best is really rare. (An RP like Kutho is hard to run, so it makes sense, I suppose.) And yeah, lots of people love playing various RPGs but don't like doing whatever the equivalent of being the GM is. It's just way more work than being a player.
oh btw I made Kratos watch "Blink" and he said it wasn't scary. I think something's wrong with him.
Yeah. Unfortunately, I don't think many people are going to like it... but it is what it is, I guess. But no, no rereading; the beginning chapters are so terribleeee...

Well, not really more spoilery than the old advertising banner I used for the 'fic, which had "SIX PILLARS GUARD / SHALL OUR WORLD" spelled out in unown around the edges. :P I like the Igneous art too, but Jinx is pretty much the star. Thanks for letting me use it!

Yes it waaasss. I spent a long time looking for another RP that was similar, but I just couldn't find one... the problem is that it takes a lot of work to run an RP that way, and you have to have both good players and good moderators to make it worth your while. I definitely wish I could get back to RPing with the old crew again, bring out some of the old classic characters and go to town.
Actually, would you mind if I used that image as a book cover for Clouded Sky on FFN? I'd have to crop it to be the right dimensions, but other than that I think it would work great.
Wow, that was fast. :O So pretty! I love the expression on the unown S for some reason--dunno, maybe it just looks way more ticked than any of the other ones.

Yes, definitely serious. There's only one chapter left, after all, and it's a short one.

And also Kutho. ;-; Why do all the good things have to end? I'm glad you enjoyed my modding while it was still alive, anyway.
:D Glad you liked! It'll be done within the month unless I'm made of even more fail than usual.
I bought the soundtrack to have access to all of the (OBC) songs, yes. The local Gabe was really impressive, too and I also actually preferred our Dan and Henry, too.
A local theatre (in Columbia) is running it; I saw it last Friday!

(Why did I reply on my own page first? <_>)
actually I was just sitting around for a few hours anyway and bam. I kind of like this but if you want me to go over it some more I could! your art always seems so cohesive and polished and I wish I could do that too, haha. :D
also yes that seviper is lovely the colours aah it's so great <3
