Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. • NO YOU DON'T!

    WELL THAT WOULD HURT

(I totally would do that if I was in the RP. That's true, but what do we have to go by other than the game (and the anime, but the anime can do ridiculous things sometimes).)

Well, it'd have to be just 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 or whatever, because me and Glace only have one pokemon. And to simplify things, I love the idea of only being able to use the ten moves we're allowed in-story. Some of us have special moves, but perhaps if we take it by Negrek that'd be fine. That does make sense, though.
WELL THEN, WHAT ABOUT YOUR FACE?

UNLESS YOU JUST POKE THEM ON THE BLUNT SIDE

(Well, for someone who's pretty unalert... ralts aren't in Johto, and I can't remember where Arylett is from. Anyway, I think it makes sense.)

But Arylett has a poochyena! I wonder how big we can make the battle...
    THEN WHAT ABOUT YOUR LEG

    TRUE

(But once he evolves, though... I don't know, I could still imagine it. And anyway, the reason most people haven't noticed it is probably because their character wouldn't know that's different! After all, Sanctum forbids interacting with pokemon. Okay then.)

Also, I'm not sure that this is still a thing that is planned but once a battle slot opens up I'd like the idea of a Sanctic battle. And you have both a ralts (too bad she's a girl) and a pichu...
YOU DON'T HAVE TO DIE. SHE COULD JUST SAW OFF YOUR ARM!

    YEAH

(I see that! Might create some confusion among people, huh? Anyway, are you going to post soon? If you don't want to, I could try to crank something out.)
A Cactuar? Let me guess, it has 10,000 Needles.

Doesn't feel the same watching it on Youtube, it doesn't feel *real* to me. I like to earn my cutscenes. If I've played the game through at least once, and if its gameplay really is so miserable to me, then I'll watch it on Youtube. Like Chain of Memories. I plan on doing that next time I play through the KH series.

(I don't think it could be any more awkward that 2D. I sucked the worst of the worst in that. Can't go any lower.)

(So you'd better take it back!)

(I remember the bombs too, they are so annoying. Just... wipe out. I died several times as well. What I don't like about that game too is that if your leader dies, you're screwed. It just makes things so much harder. Why wouldn't it just swap to a different leader?)

    But it's still hell anyway.

Oh yeah, I was always too lazy to synthesize Ultima Weapon. All those materials. If I ever try to beat him though, I think I'd rather find my own strategy and abilities. I have a certain way of fighting. I'm really quite good at actually making USE of the AI characters, for one. I figured out a good strategy in KH1 which made the game easy as hell. Goofy's MP Gift, and then remove all of Donald's magic from use except Cure/Cura/Curaga and Aero, and Donald does all of the healing and protecting for you. If he runs out of MP, Goofy fills him back up. If Sora runs out of MP, Goofy does it too. KH2 was probably harder for me because I can't use that strategy. It is impressive that you beat him at Level 69 on Proud though.
Yeah, seriously. I attempted one of them once and... it was over in five minutes. I don't know who would try that. Probably some crazy person.

Well, if the story is really good, I will sit through it. I will also sit through and tolerate something with the power of hope. If I keep hoping it'll get better... I keep not wanting to drop things just from getting a bad taste at the beginning, I want to judge them once I've finished them whole and THEN I can say they suck. Which is why I like to complete crappy games.

(I might just prefer KH in general in 3D because... that's how the series has always been. I played the GBA version first, and it's the only version I have, so it's not a preference in initial games. I just hated the GBA version the moment I played it, and I really want the PS2 version to see if I might cotton onto that better.)

    (You might.)

(By the Gods, I remember that! Oh Jesus, those machines. I suck at staggering things, which just makes that whole thing tedious, I swear I almost died several times. And by 100% in FFX-2, I mean like, the 100% that the game says. Not... doing every single little thing. I'm certainly not doing Via Purifico or anything like that, all I want to see is the Perfect Ending and be done with that. The only game I've ever gotten 100% on is Final Fantasy IX, well, technically 99% because there was one stupid sidequest I didn't want to do which involved doing a speedrun of the game and I hate speedruns. I don't count it. I actually find KH1's secret bosses easier, as well as its Sephiroth. I almost got close to beating him! And I've beaten most of the bosses that weren't him. Now Sephiroth in KH2, that's ridiculous. How on Earth did you beat him?)
Thank you for the warning/ heads up. I appreciate it, it's not often people on forums bother to do that.
Cheers, that clears things up a lot. I'm working on a concept right now. Once I've filled in a few of the holes, I'll run it by you. Not sure if I'll be able to get away with a Crusader-affiliated Pokemon or just a regular human antagonist. Might need to take that up with Arylett... but anyway.

I might be making a second character soon. Since my schedule will experience a dramatic opening not too long from now, enough to warrant that kind of activity, I hope. I was thinking of making a Jolteon, depending on how negotiations with Stormecho go. Perhaps we could do some plotting with Matthew as well?
I'm really sorry for the time it takes to do the reffing, but I don't know if Scary Face works when the foe is chilling, because like when you chill you close your eyes, so you don't see the opponent's scary face.... no?
Telepathy is pretty convenient, indeed. Hopefully once everyone's out of the hospital the two groups will decide to stick around together a little bit longer. At least until Emile, and I assume Matthew as well, are discovered inside the city - or choose to escape themselves. Once their goals are re-defined, it should be easier to devise scenarios that might make them work together. x3

In the interest of hampering them though, just to clarify; the group of Crusaders you control are collectively known as team Theta, correct? And they're coordinated by a man called Sean, presumably from a control center of some kind, their mission being basically to intercept or perform recon on the unworths.
YOU SAW PSY KNEEL. HE OBVIOUSLY MUST PAY.

IT DEPENDS ON HOW QUICKLY YOU DIE
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PSY AND ARYAN.

    ESPECIALLY DEATH BY CHAINSAW
OF COURSE NOT! SHE HAS YET TO CHAINSAW ANYONE.

    THAT WOULD MEAN DEATH
That's true. Have you ever tried them? I really wouldn't dare ever, even if I was extremely confident. The only game I've done a secret boss and WON was Final Fantasy IX. I did it twice, I think I'm amazing just for that.

Well, I don't have a limited time of when I can play... And I also just manage to have crazy endurance when I dislike a game's gameplay. As I've mentioned in the brackets.

(Really? I think the GBA version feels awkward. I mean, it isn't even in 3D, grurrh, it's so hard to hit things. I really want the PS2 version because I think I'd find it more enjoyable. I'm just not good at that card stuff.)

(Then you're saying I look like a pig, because it's supposed to represent me. I'm not seeing the pig!)

(I hated the Ark, it took so many monsters and fighting, I remember it was one of those periods where I just stopped playing the game for weeks. Ah, I'm getting back to FFXIII only after I finish my current playthrough of FFX-2. I'm trying to get 100%, which is insane.)
Magic Coat is a tutor move I believe, yes. And it's main use alongside Protect is so that Aryan can use himself as a shield to intercept attacks aimed at allies. It could have other applications, however. If Aryan picked up some momentum beforehand, then used Protect; with a little telekinesis Psy could have a wrecking ball at his disposal.

I think Telepathy could be a good ability for Psy though - prevents all damage from team-mates in combat. Depends how much of a team player you want him to be I guess, but I know Aryan will likely stick very close to a group unless forced otherwise from now on.

Going back to the Crusaders for a moment, before I forget, could you tell me a bit in general about your plans for them? I'm not asking you to reveal anything, I just wanna see if I can give them an ally. Or worst-case scenario, a mascot.
PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE REBECCA... SHE HAS TO BE THE KILLER!

    I know.

((Dangit... I expected it, but it would've been nice to know.))

    MAYBE HE INSULTED HER HEIGHT
He still has access to Mind Reader, Magic Coat and Protect in terms of supportive moves. Though he too shares Ice Punch - it is actually due to become something of a trademark move, meant to emphasize him as a foil to Korris' fiery nature. In terms of special moves he has no coverage. Although it isn't as though he has much access to them in any case.

He can be creative when the situation calls for it, though. One thing I thought up to compensate for his lack of ranged moves would be for him to create objects out of ice and simply punch/throw/slide them towards a target, which would still count as a physical attack. I can imagine a few simple combinations he could perform with Psy's assistance already. Hypnosis, for instance, could be re-directed with Magic Coat. And other such things.
WHO ARE YOU KILLING OFF NEXT, THEN?

Yeah, but still not like her at all.

((:O You can? What is it! I MUST KNOW))
Yeah, but I wouldn't dare tackle the secret bosses, even with them. They're said to be impossibly crazy WITH Anima and the Magus Sisters, so technically, they only break the linear game, but not sidequests and stuff. And grrr, I hate that so much when it's like RIGHT THERE and you just can't do.

Aah right, I survived it a bit longer.

(As I've said, I'll go take a look. I have survived horrible horrible gameplay for good stories before. For instance, Chain of Memories.)

(And also, the one in my avvie does NOT resemble a pig. It is a caninelike creature. I am insulted. >:)
