• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • I understand that but... like I said in my Coughing Cupboard post, it's pink. And has ribbons. I was just saying that it was POSSIBLE that it MIGHT have a male counterpart! Everyone's too damn touchy, I don't think you should have to flip out on someone because they said this COULD happen.
I'm back from the spelling bee!

Out of twenty-three participants, I came in 17th place! I, uh, lost on the first word. Haven't you ever spelled recuperate with two 'o's? That's what I did.

My mom did get me some cookies on the way home, so it wasn't a waste! And as a plus, I know how to spell hors d'oeuvre now!
I'm kinda new to it, but i really like the video games (such as Nightfire and Goldeneye 64). I like the film The World is Not Enough (really want to see Goldeneye and Skyfall) and i plan on reading Casino Royale soon.
That's good! While I've never been to a concert, that must've sounded fun to be at!

Aha, I guess you're right. Stress is a bad thing a day before the spelling bee. But really, when I think about it, it's not so much the failure that I'm worried about, but the participants in the spelling bee. God knows that the kids at my school don't spell well, but these people are the best of the best from their schools, and I just don't know what to expect. But you're right. Even though I said it before (that would make me echoing an echo, right? Echoception?), no matter what, I still have an accomplishment to be proud of!

Thanks for talking to me. It really calmed me down. And, you know, I think I'll go to sleep an hour early tonight. Like you said, a good night's rest!

You bet I'll tell you how it goes! No matter if I win or lose, I'll tell you what happened in a cheerful way, and that's a promise!
    Hey there, VM.

Remember a week or two ago when I said that I was in a regional spelling bee? It's tomorrow, and I'm reasonably nervous about it. I need someone to talk to about it to calm me down.

    So, how are you?
