The new bank building is much sleeker than the previous one, all mirrored glass and modern art in the lobby, but it's also a lot quieter than its previous incarnation. With an aggressive move towards online banking, the bank has cut down on both its staff and its through traffic, dedicating many of its cavernous back rooms to server farms rather than offices. The bank system isn't entirely digital yet, though, so the bank stays open for those who can't yet manage their cash at the click of a button.
The only transactions that should be posted in the bank are those that you can't carry out using your ASB Control Panel. These include referee paychecks, money that you receive from gifts or by selling things to other members, and money won in battle.
All transactions at the bank must include the following: a link to the place where you gained or spent money and an indication of how much you gained or lost. "+ $15" is a perfectly acceptable post if the "$15" is a link to where you earned the money. You do not need to state your current balance in your transaction post.
Negrek will not typically repond to posts that you make in the bank; your balance should simply change to reflect money gained or lost. If she does respond to your post, it will usually be to point out a problem with your post or ask for clarification about something. Please be patient if it takes a little while to process your transaction.
Paychecks should be posted roughly weekly and include payment for signature move, signature attribute, business, and fakemon approvers. You do not need to post a transaction in the bank to claim your paycheck; your account will be credited with the appropriate amount before the paycheck post is made. Paychecks are posted only so that you can confirm that no mistake was made in your payment. If you do have a problem with your paycheck, post in the bank thread with the correction.
Once per week on Saturdays, a $3 allowance will be offered to all members of the league. To claim it, go to the main page of your ASB Control Panel and click the "Claim Allowance" button. If you do not claim a week's allowance by Tuesday, you will lose the opportunity to do so until the next Saturday rolls around.
Referees may claim payment for their work at any time by posting a transaction in the bank including links to the rounds they want to claim income for and the amount that each round is worth for them.
