Open Dreams of the Past

"Graar! What you doing here?" Charcoal fired another Flamthrower at the Solrock, not caring that it was a fire type. "Get out! NOW!"

((*aggresssive mode*)

Sinar felt another great blast of heat. And then noticed another source of heat, the metallic wall of the chamber. It was starting to glow red. Sinar sent a powerful psychic force at the Charizard's head, followed by a powerful mental suggestion, My task is important. Your petty concerns are not., and then it went back to opening the chamber, pulling the red-hot wall out, revealing a chamber inside with some Pokemon inside.

"What task?" Charcoal stopped raging, he was rather curious. Then he looked in the hole. "What's that?" He growled.

The multitude of noises did not go unnoticed by Mourmedy's group. Several of them gazed at each other, frightened. She gazed at them, with a stoic expression upon her face and said nothing. Onwards they were lead by their fearless leader,

And she stopped, spotting something quite peculiar... There seemed to be a Solrock... In front of an hole of some sort... Hmm... She made no effort in hiding, Mourmedy knew that the Solrock could probably sense them with its psychic powers.

"What are you doing here?" Asked the woman rather coldly.

Sinar beamed a message back at the Charizard, In there are Pokemon that were, up until now, slumbering, awaiting something. And now, their time has come, so I am unearthing them., and then it noticed a human. A female, more specifically. And this human seemed suspicious. Sinar, though, turned it's attention back to the chamber that was just opened, telling the Pokemon inside, The chamber has been opened. Go now.

Mourmedy did not say anything more, the Pokémon had not responded to her...

She made another gesture of the hand to her troops, they nodded. There was an odd clicking noise throughout the cave as they surrounded the Solrock. A few of them went into the chamber. Her steely unfaultering gaze almost penetrated the Pokémon. She hated Pokémon with a passion... each and every one... Almost as much as she hated trainers...

A third hand gesture.

They nodded and waited for the Solrock to try to attack...

Zrantox "heard" a telepathic message saying that the chamber had opened, no sooner did he hear this did the chamber, well, open. He floated out, keeping dark energy at the reayd and looking out for a human to attack.

<What is the meaning of this?> Jin boomed, transmiting the message into the minds of everyone around. He was a bit annoyed from having been woken so suddently and not answered.

His red eyes peirced the dusty air before him, trying to envoke fear in any who saw him.

<Explain.>

Sinar watched as the humans with the female surrounded it. They wielded familiar weapons. It needed to get outside before fighting, or it wouldn't be able to easily fend them. Sinar looked around, and noted that the other Pokemon didn't seem to react to this. It stood still, and struck a nearby cave wall with it's psychic force, sending rocks down on the humans.

Skaldia blinked at the telepathic message. Surely the Champion hadn't sent it... maybe it was one of his Pokemon? Exiting the sleeping chamber awkwardly, as her legs weren't built for walking on land for long, the Aerodactyl stared in confusion at the group of humans and the Solrock. There was a Charizard too, but she knew that a Charizard could hardly contact her like that. One of the walls started to crumble, but the Pokemon paid no attention to the rocks bouncing off her hide. "You're the one who's been in my head!" she keened, displaying serrated teeth in a threatening gesture. "Tell me where the Champion is!" Now that they were in a bigger cavern, she swept her wings out to their full length, probably hitting the humans that were scuttling away from the rock slide, but they didn't matter. None seemed to carry the authority of a leader, so where could the proper Champion be - wait. Her gaze settled on a somewhat short human who seemed to be staring at the Solrock with an intensity Skaldia admired. "You are the Champion?" she rasped, lowering her head to in turn stare at the woman.

As Zrantox floated out, he saw a group of humans focusing their attention on a Solrock. Upon hearing an Aerodactyl suggest that this was the champion, his composure snapped.

"It won't matter whther or not you're the champion," he snarled while flying forward at the human that was pointed out, dark energy at the ready, "I'll crush you like the human you are!"

Several of them seemed to be scattering away, running. But they didn't matter... Oh no... They were all weaklings, weaklings afraid of the dark, weaklings who bared their fear for the world to see.

Mourmedy took out the shining object. BANG! BANG! She fired several shots at them and managed to successfully destroy most of the falling rocks. The ones that she didn't were destroyed by the few brave ones in her troop who had remained, also with their shining objects.

"Would you like to try that again?" She aimed the weapon at the Solrock, looking at it in annoyance and fury. "Tell me, what are you do-"

A voice had spoken. It sounded quite raspy... as if it had never been used. Her ruthless eyes turned to look at the owner of the voice... The others in the group shined their lights upon it. A large, bird-like grey creature... Aerodactyl... she had seen them only in books.... Weren't they supposed to be extinct?

"Champion..."

And then another one spoke... a Dusknoir... It tried to charge at her, but several of her men dashed forward to protect her. She thought for a moment... Champion...

Jin hovered from the chamber, his heavy, steel body flaoting a few inches from the ground. He took a good look at the human nearby - a female human, young... She looked angry.

<Who are you, human? What is your reason for being here?> He transmitted to her, his round body making a low gonging noise.

Zrantox didn't let up as several humans moved in to protect the female, he smacked two aside, then flew forward and picked up another by the throat.

"Female," he said, "Your kind have imprisoned my species. You have manipulated and enslaved them. So give me one reason why I shouldn't end your comrade's life here and now."

Skaldia screeched in anger at the Dusknoir. "No! If she is the Champion, it is our destiny to serve her!" she protested, half-flying to end up in front of the woman, ready to take any attacks the Ghost Pokemon aimed at her. The humans wouldn't be able to protect themselves, surely. Jaws gaping, she stared him down, obviously angry. Her tail lashed dangerously, cracking a few rocks as it hit them. If she had to, she'd bite him, confident in the knowledge that she was finally doing what she had been intended to do. "Are you the Champion?" she growled, gaze still on the Dusknoir as she flapped her wings, stirring up dust.

"like I care," Zrantox said, not taking his eye off the human he'd attacked. "As a Dusknoir, it could be thought as my 'destiny' as you say, to bring those that have fallen to the next life. If they go there by my means, that's hardly a problem."

She watched on in concern as the Dusknoir grabbed him... The most important one of them all... Her steely gaze worsened in intensity, she looked as if she wanted to rip the Dusknoir to pieces. And then, the Aerodactyl... it saved him... He was lucky... so lucky it foolishly believed her the Pokemon Champion...

"Atticus... You're fine." Mourmedy said with a hint of worry to the man who had been attacked. Though it was a statement, it sounded like more of a question. Atticus nodded, glaring at the Dusknoir. "As it is my destiny to protect her. You can kill me if you'd like, but not her."

"Enough." The woman said, the annoyance in her voice rising once more. She had to think fast, things were getting dangerous. Hmm... Champion... And then, a most brilliant idea entered her mind.

"I am the Champion and I have come with a very important task..." Mourmedy knew that the psychic types would probably try to read her mind. But she was prepared... prepared for attacks from all sorts of Pokemon. She reached her hand up to her head and seemingly scratched it...

Ancea shielded her eyes, then sliced her chamber open with rage. "Who's there?" she growled, but it sounded like "Kabu, tops!"
