Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Dreams of the Past

"That reaffirms what I say then," Zrantox yelled. He then floated forward at high speed, turning transparent so that any attempt to guard the Champion would fail.

"I refuse to serve another one of these pathetic humans. Not after what they've done to my species. I'm going to make sure you regret ever coming down here!"

(You know, Pokemon and humans can understand each other. :P)

Skaldia shot a triumphant look at the Dusknoir, even as it seemingly faded. "It is our duty to serve her, now!" Despite the fact she couldn't even sense the ghost now, she still had an offensive stance, ready to attack. The Aerodactyl bowed her head in slight deference to her new master, hissing softly. "Your orders? He will attack, soon!"

"STOP!" roared Qua. "Don't attack her! She hasn't done anything to us!" He marched out from behind the others, showing himself to the humans. "Zrantox........ stop now." He bared his fangs and threatened to attack the Dusknoir.

She felt a odd feeling, being able to command so much power... Being respected and obeyed by a great beast... It felt sort of... sort of wonderful. But no.. This was... it was similiar to... giving out orders... Like one of those terrible people... She was just as bad as one of them.

Mourmedy shook her head. Later, she would fix things, later... Right now, she had to make sure that everyone was safe. If the Aerodactyl found out she was lying... She had to keep up with this facade...

What attacks did Pokemon know...? She searched her mind quickly, she had studied this before going to stop the digging team. Which one would be useful...? And then, her mind delivered again! There was an attack... an attack that made Pokemon able to hit ghosts... What was it called...? Oh yeah...

"Do you know Foresight? If you do, I'd suggest you use it."

As a Tyranitar positioned itself near The Dusknoir, he called dark energy to his hands.

"Why should I? I can no longer tolerate obeying these-' He gestured to the humans- "Vile creatures. Not after all they've done to us. GIve me one good reason why I shouldn't attack."

Ancea hopped to follow Qua. "What are these humans here for?" she asked. "I'm supposed to be near the ocean, and they put me in some dusty, rocky old chamber for nothing!" She raised her scythes, glaring at the humans.
I shouldn't be killing them randomly, but they've hurt us in one way or another!
A passing Butterfree caught her eye, and her claws dropped as she stared at it. They were much smaller than she remembered. "Oooh," she sighed.

"These ones in particular are innocent," said Qua calmly. "If you want to kill someone, don't go for the area that isn't a problem. You have to strike the problem, and the exact one."

Ancea didn't hear Qua, as she was too busy watching the Butterfree. She made a sound that sounded like "choo-choo."

Skaldia nodded, focusing on the Dusknoir. She was mercifully silent; her screeches would probably be ear piercingly loud at this distance. She felt a surge of satisfaction as Zrantox shimmered into view. Eyes narrowing, she lashed her tail in excitement. Finally, a battle, and one she had been waiting for! "And now?" she queried. "I am ready." Usually, she wouldn't have been this obedient, but the urge to fight, after such a long period of sleep, was enough to make her giddy.

Mourmedy was also beginning to feel excited, though she did not show it... Having her commands executed so successfully... so brilliantly... with such grace. Never could she get that out of any of these dunces she was traveling with. The Aerodactyl was almost as good as Atticus at listening to commands... almost...

...No, remember what you're here for! Just get rid of the Dusknoir and make sure they go to sleep! Said a guilty voice in her mind.

She thought quickly and commanded the Pokemon to do the first attack that came to her mind.

"Poison Fang." For the first time, Mourmedy's voice sounded sort of giddy.

Atticus watched her in concern.

"Yes, but these are the ones that have come to reenslave us," Zrantox countered. He called mroe dark energy.

"Now then, seeing as you fail to give me a decent reason-" He held up both of his hands. "One of these humans is about to die."

The Dusknoir knew that he couldn't go after the Champion- not with so many "supporters" nearby- so who?

His eye finally found a decent target: The human he'd threatened to kill earlier. Aiming both of his hands at that human, he fired twin Dark Pulses at the human.

"Stop it!" roared Qua. He charged at the Dusknoir. With no time to lose, he used Payback, striking the Ghost-type with a super-effective move and most likely knocking him away. "Don't... attack the humans!! They are not here to enslave us!!"

"What, they aren't? Ancea asked. She jumped in front of the two Dark Pulses, guarding the humans. She was knocked to the ground, and struggled to get up. "Don't... hurt them... they haven't... harmed us..."
The Kabutops then collapsed.

Zrantox, moments after he fired the Dark Pulse, was hit by Payback. He was thrown back and barely turned transparent so that insteadof being slammed into the wall, he passed through it.

The Dusknoir floated up and through the wall. "They are here to enslave us," He said, "Why should they not, when their kind have done so in years past?"

He then charged at the Kabutops, and with a backhanded the Fossil pokemon with shadow punch. "Out of my way!" He yelled, "I'm going to destroy that human!"

Skaldia lunged, snarling, as her fangs started to glow a sickly green. Focusing on hitting Zrantox, she followed the vicious bite with a swipe of her tail, using it as an effectively rock-hard club. Just the motions, the knowledge that she was fighting again, was enough to empower her. Her muscles strained slightly as she forced them to let her move as she had such a long time ago, but despite the slightly jerky movements, she could already tell she was getting close to the savage grace that she had once possessed so effortlessly. "Do not attack the humans!" she screeched, waiting for orders once more.

The tempature in the cave increased rapidly as Esther continued toward the sounds. "Ugh," she muttered - the heat was unbearable. The sounds had stopped to mainly conversation. Turning a corner, she found the source of the sounds. Several powerful pokemon seemed to be arguing. Esther swore - she wouldn't be able to beat any of them, it seemed, and there was a human with them.

One of the pokemon in the group -- a Dusknoir -- seemed to be rebelling against the rest of the group. From what she could pick up, he wanted to kill the human. Good for him!

Esther considered her options. Going into the middle of the fight would kill her. Letting them stay would potentially kill her. She decided thet the best option was to attack when they were weak, and find out why they were in her cave. She blended into the darkness, satisfied with her plan.

Though... it would be fun to attack the human. The other pokemon seemed to be restrained by some 'champion' garbage. Hah! Again, the fact that they were much stronger than her crossed her mind. Bad idea, maybe later.

"That was many years ago," growled Qua. "I'm sure things have changed." He looked down at the Kabutops and then at the female human, with a look that asked, "You want me to fight?"

Zrantox seized the Aerodactyl- though it took all of his strength to hold on to the rock and flying type.

"I'll do what I want," he said, raising the Aerodactyl above his head and slamming her into the ground. "I'm not following this piece of filth."

"Now then, where was I..." The Dusknoir called forth more dark energy. "That's right! Cleaning up one more piece of garbage!"

He then fired twin Dark Pulses at his target- the human which the Kabutops had shielded.

Without waiting for an answer, Qua turned his head. "Dusknoir................ stop now." The Tyranitar was helpless. Zrantox's attack was coming to quickly. As swiftly as his heavy body could handle, the Tyranitar was the one to shield the human, scraping at Zrantox's body with Stone Edge. "You must not continue.... or I will take you down myself."
