Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Dreams of the Past

ed'Rashtekaresket turned his red eyes upon the Arcanine, motioning towards the entrance with a fin. "Are you so blinded by your time in the chambers that you can't see the light almost in front of your face?" It seemed they both couldn't stand being in the cave for long. Though the sunlight.. ed'Rashtekaresket had never liked the sunlight that much, likely because he was a Sharpedo. But the cave.. it felt like he was getting claustrophobic, even with all the space there was above him..

It was only natural to be surrounded in the water, he decided, and scraped a fin against the ground. These conversations were going nowhere. If he was quiet enough, like right now, all the others would forget about him and leave him to his own business.. And at this moment, that involved finding a place to live the rest of his life out.

Though the drama in here was rather interesting. Might as well stick around for a bit longer.

Kleh'Drentaht growled and shook his head. "Maybe I am going blind," he said as he left the chambers.

"Working," Effigei said as soon as he heard the thump coming from the other side.

"Then fire again," Yatasori said, and even as he said this, the crystals shattered above them.

Effigei responded almost instantaneously, creating a kinetic barrier around him and the Gliscor. As a result, however, Effigei had to give up control of some stones, and robbed of their support, they hit the ground.

"Urgent," Effigei said, firing off his remaining rocks at the chamber wall.
----
Zrantox could feel his strength returning to him.

Just a little longer, and then I will return to the chamber to reap my revenge. And this time, nothing will stand in my way!

"63 isn't a real name," Cole said slowly. "It's just a number. It sounds like you're some experiment specimen. It doesn't give you any individuality. Why not choose a different name? I mean, if you lost your memory, you deserve to have somthing that belongs to you."

"I know 63 isn't a real name, but..." 63 paused. Actually, choosing a different name might be a good option, but for some reason, 63 didn't want to.

"Well, I don't know why not," 63 said in his usual, slow and nervous voice. "I just don't know what I would be called."

The girl shrugged. "That's fine. If you ever think of anything you'd like, though, feel free to use it." Glancing at the cave's entrance, she muttered, "Hope they hurry with whatever they're doing in there."

A thought suddenly occurred to 63. He and the others were awake now in this world, but what the hell were they going to do now?

"Um," he said, barely loud enough to make himself known, "what ... what are we going to do here, now that we've all awakened?"

Cole shrugged. "I'm going back to base with Tanya. You'd have to ask her, but she might be willing to bring some Pokemon back with us if you wanted to come. If she even comes out."

I will wait on my next plan of action., Sinar told Nicole and 63, No hostile humans appear to have made any moves in this direction. You are free to do as you wish, be wary of humans who seek to kill us.

Hearing a sign of encouragement from the trapped individual inside, Tanya continued her assault on the second wall. "I'm coming for you," She spoke in a kind, almost human-sounding voice. Just be patient. Finally, after all these centuries, I will free you all." She began to pound a couple more times at the cave. When it was weakened enough, she fired an ice beam into the cracks in the wall, then finally broke through it with an Aqua Tail.

Xalvin followed the two other Pokémon out of the cave. As soon as he saw the sunlight he rushed out and reveled in it, as if trying to suck it in. Soon his mind wondered. And sure enough, it stumbled upon those humans. But his memories there were broken. Sure, he can remember some but he knows that there are somethings missing. Like this scent of someone that was the only thing that he actually liked back then. But he can't remember who it was. all that he knew is that if he traveled around, he would find out. But then a thought struck him.
"What are we going to do now?!" he shouted

Zrantox, having fully recovered- or, at least, gathered enough energy to last a decent amount of time -got back up, turned transparent, and floated out of the chamber.

I will find that human. I will show all those who protect that vile human that they made the wrong decision. And then... she will die!

((Alright, no posting was because I have to get ready for school, and I lost my Gamecube memory card (not relevant, but made me spazz), forgot the combination for my lock and somehow misplaced an antibiotic cream for my eye that needs to be shown to the doctor tomorrow. Yeah. I was not in the mood to post. x3 Sorry guys.))

Skaldia didn't bother staying around to see if it was Lance that was inside. With a furious screech, she turned and... waddled out of the cavern. Not impressive, but trying to fly in a cave was stupid and she wasn't going to bother accidentally setting off a minor rockslide or some sort of catastrophe by trying. It was selfish of her to keep a grudge like this, but the world was confusing, and the fact that the only thing left of her old life was Lance angered her to no end. She stormed past the other Pokemon, whirled dramatically and snarled, "You are all pathetic." Anger befitted her too well - her impressive fangs were bared in a way that informed everyone that she really, really wanted to bite something.

----
Lance stumbled back as he heard the crackle of ice forming, and then a ridiculously loud smash as the door broke under all the pressure. Shielding his eyes in case debris decided to rain down, he peered at his rescuer. A... Milotic? "You saved me?" he asked, a bit bewildered. Where had the Psychic Pokemon gone? "Um... thank you." He looked slightluy unnerved, noting the Claydol and Gliscor hovering nearby. No humans in sight... This was odd indeed.

((Bleh, this is a case of me no longer knowing where the hell everyone is. Yay. XD Bad post quality comes from confusion, exhaustion and stress.))

Tanya heard the soft, smooth voice of a human speaking as soon as she finally managed to break through the wall. She looked down to see Lance staring back at her. She moved to him, and closely began to wrap her body around him, speaking in a soft, almost whisper of a voice, trying to keep as many as she can from overhearing. "Yes, I organized this little rescue operation. You are Lance, yes? The world is a much different place than what you remember. But, we are not out of danger yet. For even now, there are those that would kill you without so much as giving you a chance to speak, lurking around here. I plan to at least give you your fair dues, but I have neither the strength or desire to truly fight them off. And we have to go past them to leave this cave."

She had wrapped to coils around him, and began to tighten a little bit, lowering the volume of her voice even more and speaking to his ear. "We need to hide you, to such an extent that first, no one knows you're here and second, if someone does figure out you're here, they won't know you're alive. I have a plan, but, oh, you're not going to like it at all.. So, perhaps it would be best that you consider me your captor rather than your rescuer, and do exactly as I say... if you wish to live and ever see daylight again. And I can't promise you that you will."

"I'm not sure how much you know about this world you've woken up to," Yatasori said, "But what you need to know is that there are pokemon who would do anything to see you dead. And that humans have locked down on this world. Pokemon training has all but vanished. Two especially dangerous pokemon are Zrantox, who is a Dusknoir who will hunt you down to the edges of the universe and back, and some Aerodactyl who seems even more obsessed with your death."

"Follow," Effigei said, pointing toward the Milotic.

"You need to trust her. I don't know what she's planning, but if it's the only way to save your life- which I am sure of -then you do what she says."

((Fail post again from me - gym makes me tired. I had a nap. Now I'm feeling bleary - not all that great. Nevertheless, I shall make an attempt.))

Lance blinked as the Milotic wrapped herself around him. "...Yes, I'm Lance." he asnwered, now a bit cautious. He listened carefully, and then stiffened. So he wasn't really being 'rescued'. What little sight he had of the cavern told him that no, Skaldia was nowhere to be found. Which meant that he really was at the Milotic's mercy - Skaldia might have let go of her grudge for a moment to save him, though he really doubted it - but otherwise, he was without any allies. The Gliscor and Claydol nearby didn't reaffirm his faith in the Water-type. But if they were telling the truth... then the world was without balance, or peace. Humans trying to control everything didn't seem like a very good idea at all...

"I know who the Aerodactyl is. I can... take care of her if she comes after me." Which was basically him hoping that when he threw her old Pokeball at her, she'd return rather than make a fuss. And this was all wishful thinking, since he hoped she didn't kill him before he got a chance to see and talk to her... "I guess I'm at your mercy." This last to the Milotic, of course.

Seeing that Lance seemed altogether hesitant about her, Tanya moved her head in front of him, looking at him eye to massive eye, speaking with a kind of a hiss, a forked tongue flitting out and back in from her lips. "Listen, Lance. Things have changed dramatically since you last roamed the earth. I don't know what you expected me to be, some sort of great human champion to lead all the strong Pokemon who slept alongside you? The era of Pokemon training is over! Pokemon and humans now only look out for their own selfish interests, existing in their own little worlds. But I've seen both worlds. I've lived my whole life straddling the line between humans and Pokemon. I alone intimately understand how both think. There IS no greater champion."

She signed, shaking her head, and lowered the volume of her voice, a slight bit of annoyance coming out. "Yes, the Aerodactyl is around, and yes, she's not very happy about you being around either. But the Dusknoir is likely the more pressing matter. He has made it his mission to wipe out each and every last human, and while he will likely fail eventually, that won't stop him from trying. And right now, you are an easy target. I barely managed to stall him, but he'll be back and soon, and if he sees you, he'll kill you, and he likely won't fall for the same trick twice. The only thing I can do is try to keep him from knowing that you still exist.. which would be very hard to do in you're visible. So, I leave you with two choices. We can leave immediately and pray that he doesn't find us. Or I can hide you from sight and take you out myself. And there's really only one place I can put you that would likely work... in my mouth. If you have another idea, tell me now, because we don't have much time. My caravan's leaving in about 2 minutes, with or without you, got it?" Tanya slowly began to unwrap from around him. "So, what will it be?"

"Are you sure that's wise?" Yatasori said, "I mean, what if you swallow him a little too far, or what if the Dusknoir comes in and sees that your mouth is... how you say-"

"Engorged," Effigei said.

"Exactly. Don't you think that he'd notice you were hiding a human in your body."

Though it's not as if we have a better idea, he thought, We were just going to take him to a safe place the moment we woke up. We didn't count on the Milotic. Or that he would be so slow in deciding what to do.

((*dumps a Life Bottle on the thread* There! With this post, we're out of the stupid cave - or at least, I'm hoping to get out of it so everyone else can post their reactions and whatnot. Sorry! My brain decided to freeze on ideas.))

Lance blinked, looking between the three. "Um... I'd rather not be swallowed. Those two have a point - it might be noticable. I'm still pretty sleepy from the crystals... Maybe you could savage me a bit and try to put me in as deep a sleep as possible, so I'll look dead? That way you could get me out, maybe telling the others that it'd be better for other humans to bury me... And the Dusknoir wouldn't be able to tell unless he came close enough for you to sense him." His voice slurred briefly - the sleeping chamber's going into overdrive hadn't escaped him entirely, and he did feel tired enough to fall asleep again, especially if a Hypnosis or Sing was directed at him. "Well?"

(I'll help revive this thread as well! Sorry about if I get some things wrong... I only skimmed, didn't read that much of the previous posts.)

It was hot.

The sun shone down upon the thin form standing at the entrance of the cave. It shuffled around a bit, seeming restless.

My God... how much longer would this take? She tapped her wrist impatiently, glad that there wasn't a watch on it to remind her of how slowly the seconds seem to pass by... second... by second... the woman tapped her black boot upon the soil impatiently, cold eyes staring dully... come on... com-

Suddenly her body went straight and stiff, seeming attentive. Another figure was coming towards her, out of the entrance of the cave. She looked at him with an expression that said: "Well, it's about time!"

He appeared exhausted, panting heavily. Mourmedy waited a moment for him to catch his breath, feeling impatient. She had been standing there, the scalding hot sun baking her with its harsh rays for nearly half an hour.

"There's so much... I don't even know where to begin..."
