Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open High School Blues

((aw, it's ok. You're in now!

Now for a constructive post!))

When the principal had finally finished introducing the new teachers, he cleared his throat and started his usual speech.

"Now then. Welcome back to those of you I know, and Welcome here to all those I don't! It's nice to have you all back, and I hope you continue to uphold our school as the prestigious place of learning that we all know it is. Classes will start at 9 o'clock sharp tomorrow morning, so go get settled in until then!"

Finally! Ingrid stood up with the rest of the student body and headed to the girl's dorm.

((And the fun begins >D))

Lucius sighed, and stood up. Admist the other shuffling students, he walked in the general direction of the boy dorms. At least, the direction he hoped the boy's dorms were in, because he had a rather notorious penchant for getting lost.

((Fwee~)) Dragon waved to Dawn, and walked with the stream of kids to the girl's dorm. Did she forget anything...?
Nope, Dragon decided, and kept walking.
((Do we have a mad scramble to find partners/triplets, get our own rooms(probably not), or do you have assigned partners/triplets?))

Ugh, I thought he would never stop speaking..

Jessica opened up a slip of paper she'd been handed from Mr. Mustang.

So my dorm mate is Ingrid.. That's an interesing name. And a Flareon too. I just hope she's not too loud or obnoxious, I'm looking forward to getting some beauty sleep and I have a feeling that constant shouting won't help much..

She navigated her way through the halls until she found her assigned room.

((Is that good? D:))

EDIT: Major late post.. I guess I screwed up the whole mad scramble thing. ^-^;

((Oh crap.. I've been getting my character's name wrong this whole time.. >> Feeling really stupid. Too many Espeon characters.. Her name's Acaica.))
Acacia got up and half-ran after the huge crowd of students. For some reason, being in a school hallway made her feel like she was an animal being herded. She looked at the paper she was carrying, mooing to herself and chuckling.
Okay..Ingrid and Jessica. Don't know them at all.. whatever.

((How high is the ceiling?))

Dawn sighed when she finally got to stretch her talons. She thought the assembly would never be over. The Swellow morph nodded, heading towards the dormitory. The girl's, of course. She couldn't help but wonder... who were her dorm mates? Hopefully no one who was too loud. She needed absolute quiet to sleep, and she went to bed as soon as it got dark most of the time, like a natural bird. The short-haired girl desperately wondered if she would fit in.

What's wrong with being different? She asked herself. But she immediately got an answer. It might mess up my schedule....

Mysti poked the Espeon morph she passed notes to. "Hey! Do we pick ou dormmates? If so, wanna be mine?"

((Since it's a mad scramble for dormmates ^^))

Frederick breathed out through his mouth and then stood up, ruffling his feathers a bit. He stretched his wings out to the sides and then folded them again, stepping out into the hall and wandering towards the dorms.

I wonder who my dormmate is? I hope they won't mind a couple of breezes every now and then...

((Oh right, mad scramble! ^^; I'm really out of it today.))
Acacia stuffed the paper from the assembly into her pocket and glanced quickly at the other girl. She vaguely recognized her as the one who'd passed her a note before.
"Huh? Oh yeah, I think we do. Sure, I will."

Name: Datehadu "Buwi" Wune

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Species: Nidorina

Appearance: Datehadu is on the tall, thin side. She has long, sand-colored hair, which curls with varying intensity. On days where her hair doesn't curl much, it's pretty much straight, and when at its most, it waves about an inch after it sprouts from the scalp and curls for about six inches at the end. She wears simple, square, black-rimmed glasses. Her eyes are shaped like sideways raindrops; they are round at the edge of her face, near the temples, and pointed near her nose. They have rather large, red irises, with a small white slit in the middle that are her pupils. She has tiny, small fangs in her mouth, and barbed ears grow out of the top of her head. She also has small spikes growing out of her back, and a stumpy tail.

Personality: Datehadu looks down on some people that she instinctively doesn't like. She is rather nice to most other people/Pokemon, though. She teases a lot, but usually it's affectionate and not serious. She is also quite intelligent, and prefers to sit near the teachers or other geeks at lunch. She is physically unfit, and takes around half an hour to run a mile, not counting the multiple breaks she would have to take.

Bio: Datehadu was an only child born from an average, middle-class family. Her parents used to send her to private school, which didn't care much about things that were usually taught in schools and instead focused on the Christian religion. When she reached third grade, her parents decided to put her in public school because the classes were too easy and she was taking fifth grade reading classes. She continues to be rather advanced for her age, but is now having a bit more challenge and doesn't have a high enough IQ to skip a grade.

Schedule: Band, Drama, Science, History

Other: She plays the trumpet in band, and is known to be good at it. She is also good in drama. Science is her main domain, especially when studying physics or astronomy, and she is decent at history.

((Please note that I might not be as smart as I said in this RP, since I'm actually only in seventh grade ;-;))

((in!))

Ingrid tromped towards the dorms, her fluffy tail bobbing after her. She didn't really care who she had to bunk with, as long as she could do her homework in peace. She fiddled with the corner of her shirt, not looking at anyone. The first day always made her shy, for some reason. Well, whatever.

She squared her shoulders and looked up, determined to find a roomie or two.

((@Dragon: Sure.))

Dawn suddenly noticed the Pokémon-person that had talked to her earlier. Nervously, she fluffed up her feathers slightly and walked up to her. "Um... would you like to be my dorm mate, please? I don't have anybody else yet..." Her tail swung slightly.

((Eh, I don't mind.))

Mayeius left the assembly hall after everybody else. He tried to stay away from the other boys on the way to the dorms. He clutched his spoons and bent them with his mind as he walked, trying to keep himself preoccupied.

Dragon nodded.
"Sure, why not?" She said with a smile. "Okay, let's find a room. Do we have assigned rooms, or?" She looked around at the other hybrids who were having a mad scramble to find partners. "I think we find a room..."

Hyro woke with a start. He had slightly overslept, and only a few people were left in the assembly. It was only then that he remembered that he had no idea where the boy's dorms were. Great, Hyro thought. He looked around and saw the boys go off in one direction. He was about to follow them, when he noticed a Manectric-morph going in the wrong direction.

"Hey! The boy's dorms are this way," he called over to him, before joining the other boys, hoping to catch up with Mayeius.

Lucius blushed, turning around and moving in the other direction. He sighed deeply, eyes downcast. Five minutes in, and he'd already messed up. This was definately an ill omen. He sighed, and moved in the general direction of the male half of the population...if it was a half, because so far, he seemed to notice more girls than boys.
