• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Legend of the Stone Tablet

[I went with Totodile for my description, considering that Legendaries can't really be given away, if you think about it]

[[I chose 152, which would be Totodile's number if one removed Legendaries]]

[[Ah good to know. Exactly why I said to pick a number between 1 and 459, as once you subtract legendaries there are only 459 Pokemon left. Guys, follow this young man's example.]]

Eric continued to wander around, examining his shiny coin. He soon looked up, and realized he was lost. "...Damned... Fucking... ADHD..." He cursed under his breath, in disbelief that he had gotten himself lost. He was in a thick, erm, thicket of trees. Aipom hung from the high branches, laughing wildly at the student's misfortune

Eric was getting pissed off now, and hurled a rock at one of the monkeys, whom caught it in midair and promptly hurled it back. The rock made a loud cracking sound as it made contact with Eric's head. Last sound out of his throat before he blacked out was a resounding scream for help

(Lesson here? Pocket your shiny things, lest you get attacked by monkeys)

Aria was about to shout when she saw that someone had a flute, but decided better of it.
---
When she stepped off the boat, she examined her coin as her pink hair flowed in the wind. It had the number 64 on it, along with a Kadabra on it. That's cool, she thought. My favorite number, and the Pokémon that evolves into my favorite. I must be lucky. She looked around, and saw that this place was very different from her homeland. Well, of course it was; she didn't take a boat across the sea for nothing, now did she?

As Ashley stepped off the boat, with her Eevee purse in hand, she looked up at the large Pokemon school and the beautiful Fullmoon island. She was a little unused to the tranquility of it, because she lives in the bustling city of Jublife. Ashley was still excited though to go to the school and have new experiences on the island. She tossed her coin in and out of her hand.

Gender: Female
Apperance: She is tall for her age, and has long curly blonde hair. She has sparkling pool-blue eyes that seem to reflect the sunlight. She is a little tan,and her fingernails are always a different color every day.

As for her clothes, she absolutely adores Mew, so her shirt is white with pink sleeves, collar and trimming and has a Mew in a bubble on the front. She usually wears jeans and her shoes are white and blue.
Personality: Very nice and playful, but also shy. Will appear out of the mist. Loves to eat and swim, but hates doing physical work. She is also very smart (This is my personality!)
Quirks: The ability to talk to Pokemon.(A Pokemon version of Dr. Doolittle!)
Flaw: Cannot control her emotions and cries a lot.
Number:163
Trainer Type: She loves all Pokemon!
Letter of Recommendation: In the eyes of other people, she is a nobody. She is a whiny-baby and is easy to pick on. But she's sweet. She helps even those who hurt her.
Dorm Number:4

Am I accepted or not?

(Er, Kriisa, aren't we still in the forest? x_x I think Jason wanted to post something before we got to our dorms. XD)

Running up to the boy he saved he pulled out his coin. Engraved on it was a purple Muk. Looking at his coin he didn't realize that the boy next to him was knocked out. Looking down Stefan gasped. "Oh my Arceus! Are you alright?!" he asked reaching down and feeling his pulse. I need to get back with the group. he thought as he picked up the body and sprinted to the group. Reaching them he stopped in front of them. The exhaustion of carrying a teenager and running a mile got to him. Without knowing he fainted, falling to the ground.

Name: Ava Maiyu
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Appearance: Ava has long, off-white hair that reaches barely past her shoulders. Her eyes are blue like the ocean, and her skin is pale. She has long arms and legs and a round face.
Ava wears a slightly pointy hat which sags a bit at the top. It is white with a green circle on the front. A set of round glasses is perched atop her nose. She wears a hot pink tank top and blue jeans which barely go halfway past her knees. Ava can get cold easily, so she usually wears a silvery-white jacket.
Personality: Ava is caring and friendly toward people she knows. She is brave and protective, but hostile of strangers. Sometimes she acts paranoid, but is a good friend to have. She often worries about her brother Edward, who stayed behind on the journey.
Ava makes new friends easily, and is calm but sometimes happily dances around. She carries a thick sketchbook and art supplies wherever she goes, safely tucked away in her backpack. She's quirky and sometimes sensitive. Ava sometimes gets jumpy while talking to her friends.
Quirks: Back at home, people teased Ava because of her big glasses and big eyes. She sketches when she's stressed and sometimes when she's supposed to be doing something else.
Flaw: Ava is easily distracted. She doesn't usually pay attention because she's buried in her sketchbook.
Number: 428
Trainer Type: She likes Pokemon that look cool, and also those that are powerful and easy to befriend.
Letter of Recommendation:

Dear Reader,

I would like to enroll Ava in this school. She is excited to learn to train Pokemon like this, and draws sketches of them all day. She sometimes draws pictures of her favorite Pokemon, Lopunny. I'm afraid if I don't get her in there, she'll (not literally) explode! I can't get her to sit still and she bounces around all day. "Can I train Pokemon?" is the only question she asks, and this will ensure that my answer will finally be yes.
I suspect she will want Lopunny first when she finds out she's going. Ava will be sad about Edward, who is already a Trainer, since she won't be able to see him for awhile. But I think she'll fend well on her own.

Sincerely,

Shirley Maiyu

Eric moved a bit and grunted. "Ungh... Damn... Fucking... Monkeys..." He managed to say as he opened his eyes to a horrific sight.

An Aipom ran up to him, punched him on the head, laughed, and ran off. Eric slumped, unconscious, once more. Well, looks like he is going to be a target of the Aipom now

Arylett disembarked from the ship, following the others in a rather vague manner. She played with the coin in her hand unconsciously.

She really just wanted to go to sleep, right then and there.

Her glasses were foggy and everything seemed to move in a blur-like fashion. She examined the area in mild interest, but otherwise complete indifference. Nothing really seemed to matter at that point. She knew she should've been nervous. Or at least feel something. But she didn't. Nothing. At all.

She was very tired.

Ashley turned and saw the Aipom hit the boy in the head. When she saw him collapse on the ground, she really wasn't too sure what to do. She ran up to him. "Hey! HEY! Are you ok!?" she asked in a panic. "Stupid Aipom! You want shiny things!? Here, take it!" Ashley was about to throw her coin, but she stopped herself mid-throw, remembering that it was best not to lose that coin.

[Um you do know that the number is equal to the Pokemon they'll be getting, right? 5=/=Chingling. Listen up guys, the Pokemon they'll be issued is equal to the number you picked when filling out the sign-up sheet. So the coin should have the Pokemon equal to the number carved into it, along with the number.]

((No, surprisingly enough, I did not know that. Not that it could possibly have anything to do with you not telling anyone this. Without legendaries, 400 is Cherrim, but seeing as it's an evolved Pokémon, I'll take a Cherubi))

((Okay.. so that makes my number 268. I think. I assume I can't just say that my number is whatever Ralts is? I'm confuzzled. Okay, I'll change it.))

((So I got Abra. Okay then.))
Aria looked at her coin. The Abra was still there. In fact, it almost seemed to be winking at her.

((Jason-kun said I could start RP'ing, so that's what I'll do. I'll start sorta like this.))

Ava woke up.

"Agh! I've overslept!" She slipped on her glasses and rushed off the boat, to get a coin with a Buneary (right?) on it. It glinted in the sunlight.

"Am I late?" she asked humorously. The girl sighed. "Trying to make a joke as a good first impression. Sorry...

"So what's going on?" Ava attempted to smile.
