So 1.8!

I'm probably not going to get the most out of it. I'm a cheater and turn it on peaceful as whenever I'm underground because I get scared too easily. So mineshafts and strongholds probably won't be as fun as they should for me.
 
I have to say my favourite parts about 1.8 are really subtle. I really love how light from torches work now, and deep oceans (if this happened before 1.8, sorry). Haven't really seen anything major yet, like Endermen, Strongholds, Abandoned mines, or NPC Villages.

In other news I discovered planting a ton of saplings near each other creates demonic trees. Fun.
 
Quick conformation question: If I buy it in beta right now, will I be able to install all other updates for free?
