• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Nonsensical, Contradictory and/or Stupid Things in Video Games

In Super Mario Galaxy, how did the Gold Leaf Galaxy come to be practically identical to the Honeyhive Galaxy?

Extremely possible if you believe the theory that the universe is infinite, so that logically there must be an exact carbon copy of absolutely everything out there somewhere. xD

In Gears of War, you could stand behind an enemy and then use your chainsaw bayonett, only to magically wind up in front of them and chainsaw them.

In most Zelda games, where does link keep all of that huge equipment?

In Mario and sonic at the olympic games, we're supposed to believe Wario can run faster than sonic...

Princess Elise in sonic next gen...

In Sonic heroes, Cream can lift Big and amy. also charmy can support Vecotr and espio.

In Sonic unleashed, he turns into a were-hog. But were is another way to say man. meaning It's sonic the MANhog... =S

In most games, how an arm will just magically go through someone. And in some games, how you can just float through walls.

In most RP/Shooter/bloody gore killing games why is it that when you hit/slice/shoot someone they will bleed but have no actual wounds? ._. Or like in Halo/2/3 if you throw a grenade (plasma) at an alien/annoying marines head and it sticks then blows up, why is it that instead of their head flying off, they just fly across the room?

How do rabbids get sucked into a TV and suddenly invade every program?

That'd be the first thing I do once I got sucked into a TV.

Also, playing B.R.U.S.H. in TV Party is wicked. Using an electric razor and accidentally shaving your teeth is awesome. And if you don't do your command fast enough the rabbid either falls asleep or starts screaming at the cleaning tool expecting it to do something.

In Stronghold Crusader, once peasants are made into soldiers they suddenly don't need to eat any more.

And one block of stone can create a wall about 20 times taller than (and just as wide and thick as) itself.

Well of course the professor F in MySims Kingdom will lose his amazing invention that'll give him world domination that is highly dangerous if he leaves his front door open all night and sleeps on the spot.

In Star Fox Adventures, when you go to Cloudrunner Fortress, Prince Tricky doesn't want to go, but he goes in the Arwing anyway, and when you get there, he doesn't come out. It's like he stays inside the Arwing the whole time!

how does rainbow road work if its in space?

Mario Kart defies some physics anyway. Rainbow Road's like the place's "dream" course (like Rainbow Ride in SM64 or Candy Constellation/Rainbow Resort in the two Kirby games I possess), so it must defy the laws of physics like the other dream courses :D

Do you have Nightmare in Dreamland or Kirby's Adventure? They are the same game, except Adventure is on the NES and is not as easy.

Um, in pokemon Snap, how do you ride on the Rainbow Cloud if it is a, well, rainbow cloud that floats in space? Is that a dream course too?
