Viscus stood alone in the plain, the grass crunched under his feet as he walked along, going nowhere in particular. The sky was beginning to darken as he noticed a small fire burning, suddenly he tripped, and something sharp (A piece of glass?) Sliced open his hand. He bit back a stream of curses at the pain but then stood facinated as the deep ruby colored liquid dripped down his arm. He sighed, then tore off a piece of his shirt and wropped it around the wound. "I suppose i have to get close now" he thought angrily to himself. "Absol, come on out girl." The red beam of light released the pokemon, who silently fallowed her master.

Oreta watched the others from a slight distance. He wasn't too interested in their activities. He just wanted to do whatever he was sent here for.

Markha's eyes flew open as she gazed out at the plains. The Kangaskhan looked out, suddenly remembering her task. She saw and heard a few other creatures in the distance, but who knew what they were?

Carefully, she wandered through the tall grass, hesitating before approaching them. There was a human, but she was confident about battle.

"While you might be haunted by the circumstances of your passing, it is certainly better than denying your death and roaming this world, seeking to live once again, like so many tormented spirits I've seen. But this isn't really important right now, we can talk further later if you wish.", Taunos replied to the ghost, who was a human in life, evident by her form.
He spoke up to get everyone's attention, "Well, I suppose introductions would be good to have. I am Taunos Runetotem, of the Runetotem tribe, of course. I was a healer and seer for my village."

"I'm Bara of... Well... I don't remember my village's name any more. But I am from the Kanto region. I am a shapeshifter and knife thrower. Or at least, that's how I fight," Bara said. "I have experience fighting very powerful evil. I should be of use."

Vai stepped through the portal, and waited while the momentarily lag ended... and brought her to some plain-like place.
"Crap, this is obviously not Kerning City," she muttered, and refolded her wings. There seemed to be a bunch of... creatures, human or not, there. Vai stepped over to them.
"What's this," she demanded. Then taking on a softer tone, "Who are you? Where is this?"

Viscus watched quietly as the odd creatures introduced themselves, Absol was laying down, eyes searching for somehting to kill, the field was empty except for the creatures by the fire. "Come on girl." He stepped up quietly, waiting for someone to notice him, there was no way he would draw any attention to himself, even though his hand was still bleeding.

Midna grinned amusedly and started to say something completely unintelligible, which, if one listened to it very closely, sounded something like, 'This is not fried chicken." She then stopped herself and started to speak once more. "Sorry about that, it's a habit of mine. I'm midna, and I'm not an imp, I'm a Twili," she said, glaring at Bara all the while.

"Ah, so other one showed up." Sonic said to Vai, "You're a long way from any city here..."

"True," Tails replied, "This is the Endless Plains, and I'm Tails, and my friend here is Sonic. I assume you got the message?"

Markha's ears perked up. "Kanto? That's where I'm from!" She looked excitedly at the human who had spoken, shrugging. "That's one less thing to explain, then."

"Oh? Well then, I'm sorry," Bara said smiling at Midna, "Oh, and as a word of caution, if you touch me, you will catch of fire. And if the fire goes out, the burns left by a Houndoom hurt forever." Bara looked around. "And the Endless Plains, eh? Fitting name if you ask me."

OCC: I thought you signed up for Villain, Darksong.

"Message.." Vai blinked. "Oh. Uh. Well... I guess.." She winced inwardly. "Anyways, I'm Vai. Nice to meet you, Tails, Sonic." She quickly hid her wings.
I'll save this advantage for later, Vai decided.

Bara looked at the newest girl who arrived. "I'm Bara. It's a pleasure to meet you Vai."

"Hi, Bara." Vai looked around the supposed Endless Plains. "So, I suppose most of us can fight?" She looked around, and nodded to herself. "Right then."

Taunos looked down at the new arrival, a young human girl, perhaps even too young to be adventuring about.
"I am Taunos Runetotem. Good to see more people here.", he greeted warmly, "I suppose I can fight.", he added.
He then turned his attention to the humanoid fox named Tails, "You mentioned a message? Why are we here?"

"Yes, I should explain" Tails said, "We are here to put a stop to this decay of worlds. You know how this area is surrounded by crystals? How we got here in the first place? Well, I was thinking that if we were to return to some of these worlds, we'd be able to find signs of what world is responsible for the destruction. I knew it would be very dangerous, and even though me and Sonic have been through a lot, this is definitely more than either of us could handle alone...so I sent out a message to help recruit people to help us."

((The villains are gathered elsewhere. You'll find out who called you soon...or if DarkArmour agrees to have been the one to call you. If not, I'll come up with something))

A stern look appeared on Taunos's face, "The decay of the world. Or worlds, as it may seem. I myself aided in fighting the demonic hordes that threatened to tear my homeworld, Azeroth, asunder. Fighting against worldly decay isn't anything new to me, but it's not an experience one wants to repeat, but feels compelled to. After all, everyone is in danger. Now, you mention the crystals. Portals to other worlds, as you said? Which one is responsible? Could be all of them, as far as we're concerned.", he said with certainty.
