• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

"Not immediately," said Arceus. "There's no real food or water down there, and once we half-die we can't go back up without finding the Shrine, but then again you can't go up in a physical form at all if you half-die."

"That's confusing," said Yor. He began to explain.

"Down 'there,' the food and water is all illusionary. Eventually, you starve to death or die of thirst, but you still live. You just can't return to the High World. This one is called the Low World."

"If we didn't find anything in there, another Me would come out of a portal to warn us not to go. Unless... I can't time travel down there..." Alderam shivered at the thought.

"So, we might as well give it a shot," Storm said optimistically. "We have to get out of here, so let's try. But, are there any other ideas?"

"Which most of us *cough*me*cough* can't do," Alderam countered.

"But the rest of us..." Storm backed up, and dove into the water. When she reached the edge of the forcefield, she stuck her head out and looked at the others expectantly.

"If you know any special attacks, use them on the count of three," said Arceus. He took a deep breath. "One........... Two.......... Three!" He let loose a Hyper Beam, along with Miteyor's Hyper Beam. The two combined into one and aimed towards the wall underwater.

((Feel free to make your character use an attack on "three"))

Hyacinth quickly transformed to her Sky Form to gain the extra power it allowed. When she heard "THREE!", a seed burst from her mouth and flew towards the wall the others were aiming at. On contact, the seed exploded into a huge, fiery blossom of energy.

Kokaze stayed out of the water. For one, her attacks would freeze the water, and possibly her friends, and if she got wet, she would drown like a paralyzed Sharpedo.

She shivered, despite the fact that she was used to the cold.

Alderam sighed, "I guess it can't be helped..."
He combined his hyper beam with the other two.

Masquerade heard someone yell "THREE!" and he shot in his Hyper Beam with all the rest of the Pokemon's Hyper Beams. He then wondered if that would work, so he spun a Psychic around all the Hyper Beams together, while keeping his own Hyper Beam going, not only making it pretty, but more powerful, as well.

Storm dove under the water and found the place all the Hyper Beams were hitting. She fired a series of Dragon Pulses, and stopped to use Hyper Beam.

"Attack where we're attacking!" Hyacinth yelled at Maya as she sent out another Seed Flare. "Send out a Hyper Beam or something!"

Nafter was annoyed. Fire, her main element, wouldn't work underwater. The only thing she would be able to use to help break the force field was Solarbeam, which she wasn't very good at.
Even if the hole was created, she wouldn't be able to get through it. When fire went into water, it died. Without her controlling the world's flames, it would be chaos.
In other words, the other legendaries had basically screwed her without even asking for her opinion.

Brenton sighed and issued a spiralling blast of flames looping around the hyper beams. As it hit the water it stopped for a moment, and then the surface of the water began to bubble and boil, and the spiralling flames moved onwards, slowly, towards the forcefield.

The combine attacks blasted the shield at full force, directed by the water's pressure. They dissipated a bit as they created a small hole, but by the time they were gone the hole started shrinking. In half a second it was gone.

"We can't go through when there are attacks blocking the way," said Yor. "This is a strong force field."

"I think I know a way through," stated Brenton. "If you shift that water I can create a ring of fire, which can hold the forcefield open and allow someone to get through. If it works."
