I know my offerings aren't that funny, but I have a heck of a lot of old writings from when I was young (the ones from when I couldn't write at all were dictated to my mother). Some of them are just wacky, one of them is a fanfiction that was inspired by Angelina Ballerina, and some just sound so, so wrong in retrospect. I'll post some seperately, but here's a few excerpts that I typed up (some are full of errors in their original forms, which are fixed here).
And fifty bags of peppermint sticks are entirely necessary. This is an earlier one, as it's in my mom's writing.
There's also one I wrote for my nephew when I was about seven or eight that was meant to be a simple rhyme for people learning to read in the vein of Dr. Suess, but turned out to be... really bizarre and unintentionally just weird.
This sounds like the horrible beginning of a bad yuri fanfiction. And seriously, what kind of club has its meetings in a closet? I also think that it's just weird that a character named Sailer (I know I misspelled it) lives on a boat. The Jumprope Club said:Ellie and Sailer [sic] are definitely my best friends! Our club has its hideout in Sailer’s little closet! She lives on a neat boat!
“Ellie!” I called. I had reached her house and wanted a little practice with her.
“Yes,” Ellie replied merrily. “You want jumprope practice, don’t you?”
I smiled.
Oh! I loved that show and its spinoff sequel, Kowtow. :DAngelina Ballerina Fanfiction said:After buying ice cream and fifty bags of peppermint sticks, Angelina went home and saw her favorite TV show, The Saluters. Then she sang their song. "We're the Saluters. Saluters are the best. Salute, Salute, Salute, Salute, Salute."
