Open Strike Of the Dark Legion

Titress said she thought it was it, since it was the only alley with a door. That was true, but that door could lead to many things. Still, she would listen to her leader, and trust her intuition.

Now that her leader mentioned it, Beauty did get the feeling of being watched. "Will do, boss," the beautifly complied, darting up silently above the building. There she saw a most shocking sight right in front of her. The trump card leader, Maruu. "Shit!" Titress! It's Maruu!" she screeched. Seconds later, an underling reported the same thing. "Oh really? I didn't notice that," Beauty snarked to her communicator.

She quickly shot out a stun spore directed the trump card leader, slightly panicking.


((Yeah uh sorry if swearing isn't allowed you never said whether it was and I couldn't think of something more appropriate.))
 
Anju had turned and Brendon had suddenly jumped on the roof. "Oh, hello." he said to her. "Hey Brendon." she said to the Espeon. "What brings you up on this roof?" she asked conversationly.
 
"Random-ness, I guess. It's just a coincedence that you happened to be here." he replied to Anju. "I'm guessing you heard Maruu's message?"
 
"Rai-" came his raspy cry once the Beautifly took action. What perfect timing, all according to plan!

Maruu sprang upwards on cue out of the way of the attack with a mighty paw swiftly struck out in great speed into the great bug, angry sparks bursting out of his knuckles.

"-chuu!"

(Haha, I think the cursing suits the moment XD )
 
"Yes, I was walking down there, so I climbed up here. Better coverage." she looked around her and out of the corner of her eye she saw a Stun Spore attack. "Well, it seems as though somethings happening." she got on the edge of the roof. She picked up her device and said, "We're going over to see what that attack was." She looked at Brendon and said, "You coming?"

The thunderpunch struck her in the gut. Hard. Beauty stumbled back, and once the current ended she looked up at the raichu with a glint in her eye. The fight was on.

She glared at the raichu, and outward from her a black blob of energy flew at the trump card leader. "Sorry Titress!" she cackled madly. "I don't think we'll be making a prisoner out of him when I'm through!"

"Sure, let's go," Brendon said to Anju. " A fight here could only mean that the Dark Legion is involved."

Brendon began to run towards the skirmish. He could see sparks.
 
Anju followed him and saw Beauty, and Maruu. She jumped onto the ledge of the roof. Her arm had now ice on it, and she used Ice Punch on Beauty, quickly jumping back by Maruu's side. "Well, hey there Maruu!" she said.
 
Following Anju's lead, Brendon fired off an Aura Sphere at Beauty and ran to Maruu's side.

"Hello, Maruu. What do we have here?"
 
Gliding silently from roof to roof, Ember eventually ended up behind Anju.

She backed up a bit, and then charged, aiming a Blaze Kick to the Kirlia's head.

Since when was two against one ever fair?
 
Having failed to receive another order, Krika changed his flying direction - his multiple flyovers of the mountain were proving useless, so there would be nothing more he could do but to return to the City and possibly receive more orders then and there.

With that in mind, Krika continued his flight, and it wasn't long before he reached the Strange City. Throughout this flight, the Salamence hadn't been paying much attention to any goings-on in between the Rockies and the City, and this lack of attention continued as he actually entered the city.

Because of that, Krika failed to notice a Stun Spore from a rooftop he flew over, and also failed to notice the subsequent attacks against the first attacker. One shift in Krika's gaze might have changed the tide of the battle, but some events are merely set to play out as they were.

"This is Krika: I'm now in flight above the Strange City," he said, though this message would be more widely-received amongst the Leaders.

Maybe this time, he would get a response, and a job.

And who knows? He might just be tempted to go with or against it.
 
Anju felt the heat of the Blaze Kick and she felt her head get kicked. She staggered some and turned to the purple Riolu. His head hurt as she created ice shards and directed them at her.
 
Ember stepped back and let the shards hit her.

Shivering slightly, she infused her hand with darkness and slashed away at Anju.
 
Maruu was hardly ready to dodge the new attack but found that his ally came in the nick of time.

"This wasn't how I planned it," he grumbled as he landed beside the Ralts. As he turned to look at the two at his side the kick of another enemy knocked Anju he stepped back snuffing Anju to the floor to move her out of the way and snatched the paw of the Riolu in an Iron Tail before spinning to throw her up at the fuming Beauty.

"Those morons... Looks like I'm getting myself in something... different." Hergal muttered to himself. He watched the battle progress, out of sight from most of the battlers.
Hergal charged up a glowing, dark sphere of energy, known as a Shadow Ball. He barely needed to focus- the hate and anger built up almost immediately.
Hergal blindly launched it- He didn't care who he hit- A hit is a hit, and a kill is a kill.
 
Kari poked her paw through the peephole, and wriggled it around, trying to make it bigger.

"A chance of escape," she thought, "must be taken. Even if I get caught."
 
Reinforcements for the raichu. Great. Beauty dodged the ice punch and aura sphere fairly easily, as she was actually prepared for the assault this time. "Two against one?" she taunted, cackling all the while. "Can't you face me yourself?" She sent another dark pulse at the gallade for good measure.

Krika reported in. Saying he was overhead. "Krika! Get back here! It's Beauty. Are you blind? We're fighting Maruu over here?!" she yelled into her communicator irritably.

She swerved to the side, seeing the trump card leader throw something at her. Beauty had no idea what it was, she was just paying attention to her communicator, and the irritating salamence who had just reported in.

If he doesn't come... when I get to him I'll...

((Also, KQ, uh, no offence, especially since your older to RPing, but you're supposed to say things as attempts to give the player a chance... your character just picked up and threw Mawile's.))

Ember missed what was to be her target, Beauty.

Instead, she flew straight off the roof, crashing into a window.

Filled with anger, she climbed up to that roof and leapt to the next. Ember sprinted towards Maruu, her paws filled with energy. She began to punch Maruu rapidly, with no sign of stopping.
 
"Apparently it hit no one?" Hergal mumbled. "That's rather... Surprising..."
"I'm leaving it for now. Let's just se what happens..."
