Open Strike Of the Dark Legion

Brendon saw the purple riolu Blaze kick Anju in the head, and he got extremely angry. As the Riolu charged up a Shadow Claw, Brendon swung his tail at the Riolu, charging it with a Psychic energy and firing a Psycho cut at him at close Range.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a Salamence fly overhead.

"Ah, Beauty," Krika said, turning around, "You've managed to pick a fight with Maruu?! I'm surprised you've lasted as long as you have? Or has the battle only just started?"

He could see the Beautifly doing battle on one of the rooftops. It looked like that she was caught up with more than just the leader of the Trump Card.

"Well, don't worry. You'll have your reinforcement. Or should I say reinforcements?"

He went into a power dive at the battle, and used Double Team as he did so. In an instant, multiple Krikas appeared next to the Salamence. Krika touched down on the building moments later.

"Now then," the Krikas snarled, "who of these enemies will be the first to go? Who among the Trump Card will be the next to fall?"

Dark energy gathered in their mouths.

"I say the leader... it will make the rest of this war all the more interesting."

The Krikas each aimed their Dark Pulse at the Raichu, and let the energy loose.

The Trump Card members were so screwed now.

Ember took the Psycho Cut head on, while, at the same time, she lit her foot on fire and set the entire roof ablaze.

She then leapt up onto a nearby windowsill.

Ember was ready to kill.

The heat was starting to get to her, especially as the Salamance flew down. She quickly shot an Ice Shard attack as he tried to attack Maruu. Ugh, this heat... she thought, regretting being an ice type at the moment.

She saw the Riolu jump away from the building, seeing as she started the fire. She avoided the fire and started attacking the doubles, but her energy was slowly fading. She looked at the flames and tried to control them with her Psychic move.

(Ohmigosh, I'm sorry. I totally screwed up wording that one. =[ I'm sorry Mawile.)

Maruu groaned as more began to swarm the roof. This was getting nasty. The Raichu looked around at the illusion before them and then the flames engulfing the roof.

"Ah, let's move!" He ordered rather loudly. This wasn't the best set up for his team mates. None of which could fly or hover above the flames licking the floor.

With that he used a blinding light (Flash) repeatedly to give the Trump Card time to withdraw from the roof.

Hergal glanced around, looking at the rooftop now set ablaze. "This reminds me. Of Hell, to say the least... Maybe the Trump Card members will be banished to there?"
Hergal took a quick look around.
A Trump Card using Flash... A distraction, maybe?
The Trump Card seem to be trying to escape...?
Not on my watch.
Suddenly, Hergal's eyes were assulted by a bright flash of light.
"Dammit! Don't let any Trump Cards escape!" Hergal shouted, moving out of his hiding spot.
He let out a Dark Pulse, embued with more hate and anger than before. He released it, directed at a figure which Hergal didn't remember. Must be a Trump Card.
'Always take a chance to strike, no matter how useless it may be.' His parents had instructed him. Even though it was at least 20 years ago, Hergal remembered it perfectly.

(The Dark Pulse is heading towards Maruu, by the way.)

((Late post is late, issues came up >.<))

Glimmer heard the battle above and the cries of battle and pain over the communicator, but he didn't feel inclined to join in. There were enough people up there, they didn't need any more. Then the roof was on fire, threatening to collapse. Glimmer laughed and turned to go back home. He didn't know if it had or had not been an hour yet, but he was bored and they weren't getting anything done here.

Titress quickly floated above the commotion and noticed the danger of the situation. This wasn't a time for a fight. She flew to the middle and spun around. Blackish wind started to blow around, cutting of the fight. It was her one ghost move, Ominous Wind.

"This isn't a time for a fight!" She called to her team. "Fall back! We don't have time for this."

(Hey, Andromeda's part flying...)

"Good job, Mar." Andromeda said, flying over the flames.

Andromeda saw dark energy hurtling towards Maruu.

"Mar, quickly! Dodge!" she yelled.

She jumped off the roof. Her wings opened up as she glided down towards the ground.

Hergal listened to the shout from the middle of the rooftop. "Fall back!"
Hergal was rather reluctant to the order, but he did so anyway.
After all, he was just an Elite. Although stronger than most other Dark Legion members, he couldn't disobey a major.
Hergal left the scene, seemingly disappearing into thin air.

Taking Maruu's cue, Brendon ran to the edge of the roof and jumped, landing on an Awning of a nearby building. He jumped on to the roof of the nearest building, and stared back to the roof of the burning building. He hadn't seen Anju or Maruu escape yet, and he wondered if he should go back.

Anju stoped her attemps as the flashes were set off. She jumped off the roof into the window of the building next to them. That building's going down...I wonder if Maruu got out... She climbed up to the roof to see if she could see anyone still in the flames. She turned around and saw Brendon. She gave up her search in the flames and jumped over to Brendon quickly. "Well, so much for that building..." she said looking back to the flames. I'm glad I got out of there before I fainted... she thought as she realized she was now panting from being too close to fire.

A flash of light, coming from the raichu. Them fleeing. Cowards! Beauty snarled, sending a final dark pulse towards their leader.

Titress, calling off the fight. Even worse! She was too weak to join in before, wasn't she? The beautifly turned and glared at her leader. "Not the time for a fight? It was Maruu. We were winning! And we have far enough time. Enough time to casually float down the streets, at least!"

She looked long and hard at her leader, with an annoyed expression on her face. It was probably too late to give chase now. Beauty turned to Krika. This time she had a polite smile on her face. "I was scouting. He ambushed me, used ice punch. I couldn't let that go. It just escalated from there. But thank you! I pride myself on not being a weasel." She looked at Titress accusingly. Then she laughed. "But next time, I'm not backing off."

"Wait, Maruu didn't come with you?" Brendon asked Anju. "Maybe we should go back for him. He is the founder of Trump Card, after all."

Argotem turned around to see a burning building, only a few blocks away. What in the- Argotem thought as the heat from the flame finally hit him, chocking him a little. He turned his communicator back on, and spoke into it.

"Titress? What's going on over there? There's a building on fire! If there was a fight I didn't know about, well, I don't know what I'll do, but it won't please you!" With this, Argotem sped over to the blaze, not awaiting a response from his leader.

"Titress? What's going on over there? There's a building on fire! If there was a fight I didn't know about, well, I don't know what I'll do, but it won't please you!"

Titress heard this over her radio and sighed. Sometimes she wished some of the Dark Legion weren't so battle happy. But, she knew it was a terrible time to fight, since it would be pointless if there were other members. Killing their leader would just piss them off.

She pulled out the radio again. "All Leaders and Elites, return to base. There is more planning that needs to be done." She put it away and took off into the night sky. Ahh, Maruu... How great it will feel to encase you in ice for all eternity... But for now, there is more important things. She thought to herself, then continued hovering over towards her base. She also hoped the others would follow. She wasn't looking forward to having to demote someone...

Argotem received Titress's response, growled in his undying disappointment with her, and then turned to return to the base. I wonder what that wretch Bes is up to... Ah well. He can wait...

Having received Titress' orders to return to base, Krika for a moment wondered if he should ignore those orders and tail the Trump Card as best he could. If his actions were quick, he could catch Maruu off guard and kill the Raichu.

But then he wondered what exactly would be such a great deal to Titress that it would cause the Frosslass to call off a potential killing of their enemy's leader. This was an opportunity that would certainly not come up again for some time. Not after such a blatant attack.

Very well then, Titress. Let me see exactly what you have in store for the Legion.

He almost opened his mouth to say something undoubtedly rude towards Beauty, but then thought better of it. Save the infighting for when it counted. When the "allies" realized that he might not have completely accepted their Plan as foolproof.

No, not yet. That time will come, but until then, he would have to wait.

Waiting was all that seemed to happen at this point.

Without any sort of word, Krika flew in the direction of the base.

"Alll leaders and elites, return to base..." Hergal heard Titress say over the radio.
"Hm... This should be good. The last attack was rather... unorganized." Hergal said to himself.
He walked towards the base. "I wonder if a leader's getting demoted? If so... Then that's my chance." Hergal smirked.
