Open The Hunt for The Ceus Stone

((I find it funny you guys are completely lost in this. Guess I'll just jump in.))

Dyce was running, but to where, well, he had no clue. All he knew was he was being pursued, and was fleeing for his life. He had no clue who was stalking him, but it was mad.

"Oh..God, who is this?! What did I do to piss him off so much?"

Just then, the pursuer quickened up, trying to catch up with Dyce. Dyce was no longer running, instead sprinting as fast his legs would take him. Dyce stumbled.

"Oh, God!"

Dyce's pursuer darted out of the shadows, aiming for Dyce's chest. The Pokemon, a Luxray, had dug it's claws deep into Dyce's chest.

"So, Dyce, we meet again."

The Luxray sneered. Just then, Dyce, after using a quick Double Team while the Luxray's back was turned, proceeded with a Shadow Claw, knocking the Luxray back into the musty forest.

"THIS ISN'T OVER!"

The Luxray shouted at Dyce, as Dyce merely ran for the hills.

Just an introduction.

Lars growled as the Breloom went away, seeing that the guy didn't realise he was quite hurt. Lars threw a look towards Ace, seeing that his gigantic cousin was done roaring and stomping around.

Ace looked at Lars, and noticed the three thers walk, err, run away. He walked towards Lars, and looked into his eyes. "I don't like that Zangoose. He seems to be hiding something. And for me that means..." He crouched on the ground, moved his back and tail like a cat that was about to charge at it's prey, and then zoomed forwards like a missile, quickly catching up with the trio.

Lars followed him, thinking more or less the same as Ace- Both wanted to know the reason for the werd behavior of the Zangoose and the Seviper. After a short while, both where hot on the trio's tracks, following them as silently as they could, one hiding in the shadows and the other camouflaging himself between the endless bushes that were around.

Lux shifts her weight slightly, her scales starting to itch as the sounds of large feet trying to catch up to them and suddenly try to mask themselves in the woods around them. She leans her head down near her Father's ear and softly whispers that she thinks someone is following them and being really bad at hiding.

"What should we do...?"

She glances at Ride and conciders a few ideas, then gives him a small smile.

"Thing you have enough spores to deal with the ones following us...like sleep or stun spores? In case they prove to be...a problem for my Dad..."

Joshua snarled at the sent of those two from before, and Lux's words. Hadn't he taught that useless duo a lesson back there? He growled, rolling his eyes a bit to himself, and stopped walking, pressing Lux's head gently against his chest.

"Be still." He said, stern but loving. He turned around, his ears swiveling around until he locked onto the sound of their breathing. He waved a clawed paw in that general direction.

"Come out. Right now. I demand to know why you are following me and worrying my daughter. If you don't leave now, I will hurt you both." he hissed, his voice low and raspy.

"Whatever" Ace said as he came out of the shadows, a ball fo dark aura between his hands, and a dark glow covering his whole body. He held the ball like a basketball player would hold the basketball, and he looked like he would release it in less than a micro-second.

"Well..." Lars said, jumping down from a high branch he sat on, and silently landing on the ground, first he forelegs and then his backlegs. "...First of all, why would you think we'd follow someone like you? It's easier to beat Arceus while being held by thick chains than to find someone more agressive than you." He hissed, some hatred showing up in his face. "Anyhow, we aren't following you- Why would we follow someone this violent? No, im following the breloom." He said, pointing at the Breloom with his left head leaf while moving his right leaf in a 'stay away' motion towards the Zangoose and the Seviper. "The reason is that I'd like to have some serious discussion with him." He said, and then posed his leaves in an 'X' shape, a green glow covering both of them as they began becoming longer.

(Lars: Leaf Blade(ready to be used), Ace: Shadow Pulse(still charging for extra power).)

Lux's voice drops to a monotone whisper, the pupils of her eyes turning into slits. She bares her poisoned fangs, lifting her head away from her father's chest a bit as venom dripped from her fangs.

"Go away and leave all of us alone. You are not very smart and you smell bad. I don't like you and you wouldn't be liked by anyone else for that matter if you keep being this annoying to people I know."

She hisses a bit and rests her head back on her Father again, glaring at the two.

"Don't make me bite you , little grass turtle. I bet it would hurt a lot."

Krae kept dashing through the trees, following that odd pair; keeping his aura around him like before. He detected a few small lifeforms. A Rattata here, a Taillow there, but eventually, he noticed a giant bell and a fairly large bird. He grinned. Found you... He stuck his arm out to signal his new partner to stop for now they did.

He whispered in a low voice "Halt. They have appeared to stop. Let's wait to see what to do."

In a raspy but quiet voice, Glee replied, "Affirmative. Transparency increased to 60 percent."

The Porygon-2 faded even more, trees obviously seen through him. The temporary Ghost-type flipped his 'legs' in a complete circle.

"Why are we stopping?" Horus wondered, "Wouldn't it be for the best if we kept goi-"

"Maybe it would be for your best, bird, but no. We need to wait and watch while those weak-minded fools tear themselves to pieces searching for the Stone. Then you can find it and take whatever glory you want from it."

"Actually, I was going to give it to some friends of mine, and they would do what they wanted with it," Horus said, "But I'd still get all the credit."

"yes, I'm sure," Malum responded, not caring in the slightest, "I'm sure it is. Now then, we must wait."

"I still think this is a bad idea," Horus said, "What if some of those Pokemon from before show up? Like those cats, or those other two."

"It would be just as well," Malum said, "we could kill them then. Now why don't you translate that tablet you were working on earlier? It would make you useful in this operation."

Horus, letting out a disgruntled chirp, did as Malum suggested.

Glee had turned his hearing-sensitivity all the way up to the safety limit, but he couldn't make out what the Bronzong and Flying-type were saying...

"Conversation unclear. Suggesting decrease in distance from subjects. Opinion, partner?" the Porygon-2 chirruped quietly, looking in his wide-eyed way at the Lucario.

Ride blinked. The minute he stops paying attention to his surroundings, a fight breaks out. And what did he do that made the Tyrannitar and Turtwig so angry? And, as vicious as the Zangoose seems, he probably won't be able to defeat a fully evolved Tyrannitar, seeing that a few Earthquakes would knock out Luxy and that won't be very good at all. He was pretty sure he had enough spores -- the little he gave to Luxy as medicine wasn't that much, and he hadn't had to put anyone to sleep for a while.

"Whoa, mate, what do you think you're doing?" Thoroughly confused, the Breloom stepped between the two pairs of angry pokemon. He turned to face the Tyrannitar and Turtwig. "Why are you guys following me? It's not like I know you..." The two pokemon had started charging up attacks for seemingly no reason at all, and they looked extremely angry.

Krae too strained his hearing to hear what they are saying. But without mechanics, he could not better then his partner. Eventually, he heard his partner.

"Yes, we should move closer. I'll move toward those branches over there."he gestured toward a couple of thick branches about 85 degrees form the bell and bird. "I think you should go up close to them, and stay in-tangible. And if you can, record what they say. You will never know..." he finished with a light chuckle. He leaped to the branches he indicated a few seconds before. And just like before, he strained his ears, trying to hear their conversation-staying in a crouch with his paws on the branch in front of him, ready to jump down if the need be.

"Affirmative, partner," Glee mechanically whispered, becoming almost entirely see-through.

He floated slowly and silently towards the pair of conspirators, ticking off active functions in his head.

Ghost-type psychic-blockers effective. Should prevent Bronzong from hearing brain functions.

Transparency set at 98%.

Intangability active.

The Porygon hovered above the pair, barely a shimmer. Only someone looking for him would see the Porygon-2.

Horus was completely immersed in translating the tablet.

He knew that this was it; this slab of stone held the Ceus Stone's most powerful secret. Partly because that this tablet was the hardest to decipher, and partly because of what he had managed to decipher:

..... Ceus Stone ....... absorbing ......... excess ............. activate ............... existence

It seems to be a warning, Horus decided, It looks to be something that was carved in order to keep us away from the Stone.

What could it be? What could be so terrifying, so utterly terrifying about the Stone that it had to be hidden from mortal pokemon, and the lone tablet be written in such a way that it was nearly impossible to translate?

Dyce, after having been drunk for the first time in his life, had passed out, and was now regaining his senses.

"Wha... Where am I?"

Dyce said rather half-witted.

"Hey.. IT'S THE CAVE OF KARP!"

Dyce suddenly shouted with enthusiasm. The Kave of Karp was a a small cave, not much bigger than Rustboro Tunnnel. It was said to be the home of an elderly red Gyarados' spirit, long since passed away.

"Let's see... where's that delicious ruby to summon the elder?"

Dyce, of course, meant the beautiful "Red Steam", a magnificently red rock
that is hot to the touch, and can only be quelled by water. Of course, the tunnel itself was quite moist, so the rock's heat was unnoticeable until taken out of the cave, which no fool dared to do, including Dyce.

"Ah! Found it!"
