Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open The Sundering of the World

"Guess it didn't want to talk." Balien mused.

"Ah, let it go." Cyrus looked down at the market. "So, where do you think this whole call thing wanted us to do? Just have a bunch of us sit in Slateport, or meet somewhere with other people? They could have been more specific."

"And yet, despite your complaints, you are still here." Balien pointed out smugly.

"Yeah, whatever, I'm hungry. Goin' to get me some food." With that, Cyrus began to walk to the market, just above the beach. Balien returned to his Pokeball.

Of course. Kali asked about the war.

"Well, as you know, there are these... unnatural beings that have invaded our realm. They are violent, and seem to have the intent of our extinction. We're trying our best to stop them, but it so happens that Kanto and Johto have already fallen. Here, we are building an army of the best trainers we can find in Slateport, in order to combat the aliens. In Kanto-and this is the aspect that worries me most- deceased pokemon have risen and joined the aliens in attack. I am concerned for Mount Pyre, as it is our burial place for our fallen pokemon. After this I am going to Slateport to enlist myself. After that, I'm going to volunteer to keep an eye on Mount Pyre, so we may loose contact for a while. I would understand if you want Karactus to stay with you."

Axe glanced sideways toward the Houndoom. She hadn't seen him there, and didn't really intend to make an acquaintance right now. Somehow, though, he had known she was hungry, and from the looks of it his sense of sight wasn't faring all that well. Maybe that loss of vision was compensated for by the heightening of some sort of sixth sense. That would be useful, wouldn't it?

Axe nodded curtly in thanks to the Houndoom, and headed over towards the forest edge. After a couple of steps, she paused for a moment, and then replied to Shadow, "My name's Axe. I'm a Fraxure."

She then continued walking towards the tree. It wasn't that far away, of course, and as she drew closer she did indeed see a bush with small blue fruits hanging from its leaves. This Houndoom must be very clairvoyant or something.

Axe brought a couple of berries into her mouth, already partially satisfying her hunger with the varied taste of the Oran. She swallowed the snack, and proceeded to continue picking berries from the bush.

Kali sighed as she heard of the demise of Kanto and Johto, but a bit of hope seemed to arise as she heard about the meeting in Slateport. "I see... well, this was the situation that I was preparing for, though it is disheartening to learn it has happened so soon. Hmm, Slateport... that is the city far to the south, past the one called Mauville, correct?" She then crouched down on all fours, spreading her wings. "Climb up on my shoulders, Jericho. We have no time to lose. We will join your colleagues in Slateport. For now, I will pretend to be your Pokemon. But when the opportunity arises, it will be time to reveal the truth..."

Volitak slithered down the ridge, Crast rolling down after him. Olmak and Tobias leaped down, and the Golurk stayed aloft while Tobias landed on the ground.

"Good, good. Now spread out. Olmak, start to fly around the surrounding area. Warn me if you find anything of note. Volitak, circle the edge of these ruins; Crast, stay with me."

All three pokemon grunted in acknowledgment (and Volitak's felt very begrudging,) and the three split up.

It's truly a waste, Tobias thought, but the Legion insists that I look here, as opposed to the islands further South, where it would be logically easier for the enemy to hide.

Well, if we're lucky, there will be at least one worthy opponent to face here. If not... well, I will have to have a conversation with the superiors about the... wrongness of my assignment.

For a moment, he considered deploying Arthron and ordering him to burn the place to ashes (not that there was anything else left,) but then Tobias realized how bad of an idea that would be - it would deny him the chance to face a worthy opponent, after all.

No, no, I'll just see what I can find here.

Shadow watched the fracture go,"not much of a socialist like I thought," he said getting up and walking to the Oran berries, he realized he hadn't eaten in quite sme time now

Escavalier got agitated at Wargle, because Wargle always acted superior just because he Amanda's personal favorite. "I wish you would act like you had some sense." he scolded as he fixed his helmet.

"Just lighten up Escy. Wargle laughed.

Please, Don't call me Escy. Pronounce my full name or don't address me at all. He chided.

Amanda wished those two would get along for once.

Shadow walked up to the bush and started eating some of the berries trying to not make eye contact with the fraxure, he was still unsure of this pokemon.

Carrion brought his eyes above the water. I hate people. Why am I even doing this? He thought this as he swam to the shore of the Slateport beach. I mean, look at this. Their base is right in front of a huge water source. And right out in the open, too! They're just asking to be destroyed! Why am I doing this? He surfaced, and walked right up to the General for the human's army.

"I hear there's a resistance here. How can I join?"

Axe didn't take too much hostility to Shadow walking up beside her. She decided that he wasn't an enemy - if anything he would be an ally, or he could be of neutral resistance. It wasn't easy to tell who someone was just by looking at them. Unless you're clairvoyant like this guy, Axe thought to herself, continuing to satiate her hunger on the tangy berries. They weren't her favorite - she rather liked the Cornn berries - but she didn't dislike them, either. They weren't the worst things to eat, anyway.

"good luck with finding Cornn berries around here," shadow said then looked down,"sorry my dark aura I use to see with sometimes enters a persons thoughs, mabye I should go," with that he turned around and began to trudge off.

Haru looked up as she saw something large and red emerge out of the seawater. It took her a moment to recognize it, but then she noticed that it was a Crawdaunt. She wasn't sure whether that was a rare sight around here or not, but she hadn't seen that many in the wild to begin with. It appeared to be saying something, and she looked toward her Mightyena to translate.

Runa's ears pricked as she heard something emerge from the water and onto the sand, and she growled softly as she watched the lobster-like Pokemon approach. It was covered in battle scars and had fearsome claws, and Runa's long fur began to bristle. However, the Crawdaunt introduced a question, and the Mightyena replied, "My Trainer and I also are aiming to join the resistance, but the letter was not specific enough as to say how to join." Her tail swished dismissively. The Mightyena was finally calm, and sat down, though she still ground her powerful teeth a little. "I guess we just wait here for more Trainers and Pokemon to come along."

Shadow decided, the hell with it let's go see what's going on. He walked over to a rock over looking the beach and plopped himself down on it watching the trainer, her mightyena, and a crawdaunt, if he wasn't mistaken taking about a resistance,"are there really still that many still alive to stand a chance," he said to himself. He would have introduced himself but his appearance usually freaked out people or made them attack, after all a houndoom without an eye usually spells demon and his silver color and red bones didn't help much.

An knock at the door. Aramachus carefully opened it. It was simply a hooded old man. He hurried inside and closed the door behind him.

"How goes the plan?", Aramachus asked.

"Our agents are spreading it as we speak.", the shady man replied, "We shall ensure it's spread eastward."

"Good. We'll see how they react to this one.", Aramachus simply said, "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have others to contact."

"Of course, my lord.", the cloaked figure replied, stepping out of the room.

Aramachus then grabbed a cell phone, much easier to operate with human hands, and entered Tobias Akarou's number. Pushing the green button, Aramachus listened to the dialing noise and waited.

Tobias and Olmak were circling around a near-ashed building of Verdanturf when Tobias' phone abruptly started to ring. Caught by surprise Tobias immediately uttered a swear that would have surprised a Legion member.

"Typical," he growled once the phone rang a second time - that's when he saw the Caller unknown on the caller I.D. Signaling Olmak to keep circling, he answered the call.

"You're currently speaking with Tobias Akarou, unknown caller. Whoever this is, I hope that your call was worth disturbing the silence that entices prey so much."

He had a strong suspicion of who his caller was even as he was saying this, but he didn't mind if his suspicion was right - antagonizing them was a mild form of entertainment, after all.

Shadow enjoyed watching the waves lap up on shore,"ahh so peaceful," he said, at least no one took any intrest to him, let alone notice him, it might have been better that way.

(well, as I wait for CZ to contribute to the scene with Kali again, let me post with my other character)

As the indigo-hued Night Elf female sat all alone in her enclosure, a burst of bluish light would suddenly flash into the room before her. Glittering, sparkling, the light would quickly materialize into a small creature. It looked somewhat like a mix between a lizard and a moth. Batting his brilliant, glowing wings, the creature fluttered down, landing down on her shoulder. He gave a couple of small, birdlike chirps, but then, a telepathic 'voice' would emanate around the room. While it wouldn't have an actual sound, it would 'feel' almost like a child.

"Hello there! My, what is one like yourself doing here? This isn't your world..."

Pavel combed the beach, as usual when he wasn't doing paperwork, organizing things, announcing things, or other such work. He and his Blaziken, Ken, strolled past groups of tents and such. Many people appeared glum, as usual, some appeared relatively upbeat compared to their neighbors, and some were missing from their hopefully temporary dwellings, probably out walking just like Pavel himself. He stopped and turned to face the ocean.

It was at that point that something emerged from the water. A red Pokemon... a Crawdaunt. Not a particularly curious sight, but this one appeared aged. Rather, ravaged. It ambled up to him and asked him a most curious question.

"I hear there's a resistance here. How can I join?", the Crawdaunt inquired.

A Mightyena chimed in as well.

To both of them, Pavel replied, "Well, there's not much to it. I'll be sure to get your names down. The chief has yet to explain when we're doing anything, so just sit tight."

He then noticed a young woman sitting on the beach near the Mightyena. Pavel approached and asked her, "Excuse me, ma'am, are these your Pokemon? They say they're here to join the fight. If you are their trainer, then I'll need your name."

---

"I suppose this means I've actived this device correctly.", Aramachus said into the phone, "Anyway, you needn't worry about the silence, Akarou. This continent's silence will be broken soon. Until then, our duty is to prepare the denizens of this region for that moment. Where are you? I need you to investigate something in the human settlement of Slateport."

There was a brief pause as Aramachus thought of a way to word this, then he continued, "I've been told that there is a... being not of this world that has been found and imprisoned within the city. In any case, it would be prudent to conduct surveillance there, as it is a gathering point of this world's warriors, if you can call them that, as you might be aware."

---

A scintillating light show suddenly started within the cell in front of Kathris. The dancing lights coalesced into a bright blue fey that perched on her shoulder. It made the night elf recoil in surprise.

The faerie dragon made the guard recoil even more. "What on earth is THAT?! Moreover, how did it get in here?"

Once Kathris saw it for what it was, she regained a sense of calm.
Ignoring the guard, she answered the faerie dragon's question with one of her own, "It's not my world at all. This is what happens when you stumble through a random portal. However, the same could be said of you, faerie dragon. If my understanding doesn't fail me, you shouldn't be able to get to the Emerald Dream from here, so how did you get here?"

The faerie dragon gave a bit of a chirpy cackle, then disappeared into thin air, momentarily reappearing on Kathris' head, nestled between her tall, pointy ears. "Oh yes, that's a problem, isn't it? Well, it's not like that can be helped. I'll survive... the creatures of this world... I can feel their energy... they will help me. But you... I'm not the only one who has found you... who knows you're here. They will be here soon. If you stay here, they will kill you. If you run, they will chase you. But run you must... you must survive until the creatures of this world realize they need you..."

Haru looked up as she heard another's footsteps approaching. The person appeared to be a policeman, though his navy uniform was somewhat ruined. She was curious, but at the same time not surprised that there would be an increase in police here. It was one of the few remaining places, and was probably being targeted by the mysterious army whose attacks appeared to have little aim. Haru nodded to the policeman in response to his question, and she replied, "My name is Haru. And yes, I am here to fight." She paused for a moment, in case he needed to write something down, and then asked, "Are there any specific preparations that I need to make?"

Runa was a little suspicious at first, and she didn't trust her nose, with the scent of the sea in it. But her Trainer seemed to trust this man, so she did as well, and sat down politely as her Trainer talked with the newcomer. Though her eyes were mostly on the policeman, her eyes darted around occasionally, and her ears were constantly twitching.
