WILL THE E.U. MOLEST CLIFF RICHARD?
This is amazing. Wow.
Also, how do you make a mistake that large? Just how?
Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.
Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.
Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?
Jurists' names are pulled from the electoral register and the cat was listed on the census which apparently asks what pets you have. So somehow the census people must have misread "pets" as "actual people who can actually do jury service". ¯\(°_o)/¯Also, how do you make a mistake that large? Just how?
It's weirder still that they refused to let him off the jury because he can't speak English. After all there's no law explicitly stating that "it's a cat" is a valid excuse to be let off jury service. :pI'm not that surprised the summons for jury duty for the cat happened in the first place - I mean, such mix-ups do happen - but the part where they appealed with "um, he's a cat" and the request was rejected is what makes it truly bizarre.
COULD THE FRENCH IMPREGNATE THE ROYAL FAMILY?
rule 34I really, really want to draw how I would imagine some of those daily-mail-o-matic things would look like D:
If I were a juror, I think I would appreciate having a cat around! :D
