The first thing you should do is go "cd WHATEVERFOLDER" before you run supybot-wizard. It'll just dump the files wherever you are, so if you don't do this it'll make a mess. Also, feel free to say "no" to the advanced user question. You won't miss out on anything important.

The other problem people have is "What IRC network will you be connecting to?"; this should be the nickname of the server, so it can be anything at all. The next question would be "irc.veekun.com".

No need to add any individual plugins here. You can add any later by typing "load Whatever" at your bot. Here's their list:

The "prefix character" lets you type something like ">do stuff" instead of "mysupybotthing do stuff". Pick something that's uncommon for people to say at the beginning of a line. If you pick something like "*" then your bot will bother people who correct themselves.

Then finally, say yes to the owner question. Make sure you can remember the password, because it's not easy to fix it if you forget.

I think that's everything. Other than that, going with the default is good if you're not sure.

And besides your password, you can change all of this through botname.conf in your bot's folder, so you don't have to feel too stressed. You should look at the conf sometime, too, it has a lot of interesting things in it that you can change, like what your bot says to error messages.

Also huh, I never thought about using the friend's list to get to profiles. I just type "Qvalador" into my address bar and it suggests your profile. Or "Mohacastle" also works because Firefox remembers everyone's old names if I've been to their profile before. I accepted.

Things go well! That-guy-who-probably-likes-me was studying with me and another guy yesterday and other guy was slightly being a dick to me (as other guy tends to do, because he's slightly a dick to everyone) and the first guy was all "dude stop" every time it happened and it was kinda cute

(also at some point after other guy left the two of us kept studying and he was talking and at one point he looks over, stops talking and just goes "are you tired?" and when i said i kinda was he was all "okay then we'll just finish up this thing and you can go to bed" and it was really silly for me to get happy about but i did whoops)

Two of them are twin sisters: one is rather pickey on who she likes (she loves me though) and the other cuddles with just about everyone. Also, she'll killl everything smaller than her within a five-mile radius. I once saw her leap out of a tree on top of a bird that was in mid-flight.

And the other one is a male Tabby I found in the woods. He's only two months old now, and he has a lazy eye, so I named him Derpy.
