  • you know, i might have to hit you up for a commission on one of those sculptures if you ever plan on doing commissions. o:
Thaaank youuu <3 My exams are over now (hence the late reply - sorry) and I am freeeeeeee~~ I really hope yours are going okay, if you've started yet D:
The, uh, bomb threat thing sounds fairly awful, though. o.O

I've only been mistaken for a guy in real life once in recent memory; a while back a woman in a shop was talking to my sister and mentioned "your brother". It was actually pretty funny.

Whoo for your fun summer! Camp sounds fun (I've never been to "camp" as such, but since Tokonatsu is a camping convention, I assume its sorta similar, only with a lot less cosplaying and alcohol), and the family reunion bit sounds awesome; I kinda wish my family did something like that, because apaprt from the three family members I live with, I never see mine.

Mhals' parents seem really cool, but they're all coming over to England for a family holiday and hanging out with me (or, I suppose, letting me hang out with them) for two weeks, and the Expo was great fun :D

Haha, can you show me a photo if/when you do your cosplay? Ema Skye sounds like a fantastic one; I had fun being Maya (she was probably my favourite), but Ema's whole costume is just great. Especially the luminol glasses :D

I only know a handful of the FFXIII characters; I like the design for the guy who has a chocobo in his hair XD

Restarting to get a female starter is haaaard. I had to restart a million times to get a female Eevee from Bill in SoulSilver, and then she had a rubbish nature, but I didn't want to spend half my life resetting and just accepted it.

Haha, the early anime episodes are great, aren't they? So nostalgic; I still kind of want to be a ten-year-old Pokemon trainer. The Pokemon Christmas CD is absolutely fantastic and hilarious in every possible way. Under The Mistletoe is hysterical.

Yesss, I loved the Secret Bases, too! I miss them so much D: I had so much fun mixing records with myself and then raising my Pokemon to level 100 pretty easily. I wish the Viridian Trainer House in HG/SS was similar, but alas, they level you down to level 50 and don't give experience ):

I'm not a huge an of the otter (I don't like the official design, but I like fan drawings of it), but I think I might go for the fire pig this time, it's so happy! I'm reserving judgement until I see the final evolutions, though. I have high hopes for Gen V as a whole, though! :D

    Good luck with Red!

Hehe, I spend nearly all my time on the Pokewalker hunting Surfing and Flying Pikachu, and I've got about three of each now. It's luck combined with a frightening obsession X3
It's a little busy at the moment, yeah. I'm heading back to uni tomorrow, and my first exam's on Wednesday. I'v eonly got four exams, though, and they're fairly spread out, so I can't complain too much. I'm worried I haven't done enough work for them, though.
How about you? Everything going okay school-and-exam-wise?
It sucks that your sister was sick (I'm glad she's better and things!); I can sympathise. I've been lucky and have only gotten ill at the start of term, where I have almost no work at all, and then it sort of snowballs and then at the end of every term I'm stressing myself to high heaven trying to get everything done.

Haha, I've been mistaken for a guy online before (I think most girls have, though), but the Danish thing is new XD Is it because Danish is a suggestion MS Word gives when you type in Dannichu? X3

Oh cool, I hope you have a great summer - mine's a bit all over the place at the moment. As soon as my exams are over (actually, a little bit before) I'm meeting up with opal and we're going to the London Expo, a fairly large anime con, and then Mhals is coming to the UK and I'll meet up with her, and then, when everything calms down, I'm going to get a job. Hopefully. I really need the money, so I hope very much I can find one ><
What cosplay are you thinking of doing? Cosplaying is great fun, though I'm not very good as making the costumes. I'm decent at woodwork and stuff, though, so I can make fairly good props and accessories :3

The gap between the US and UK release dates seems to be closing generally. We got Final Fantasy XIII the same day you did - even though I don't actually own a console on which to play it, I went with some friends to the big release-party-thing in London, because hanging out with geeky people is always fun :3

But the Ho-oh figurine is still cool! The Lugia one is maybe a bit more impressive pose-wise, but I love the Ho-oh for the pretty colours <3

Oh! The West Wing is a series I've only recently fallen in love with, but it's a bit old now (between this and Buffy, I think I'm operating on a 10-year time lag with my TV shows), and it's a political drama set in The White House. The main characters are the President and his highest-ranking officials (his speechwriters, Chief of Staff, press secretary, etc.) and it's basically about how they deal with issues, personal and political. It sounds pretty boring, but it's actually incredibly funny while at the same time being absolutely epic and it's always very intelligent.
(you don't have to watch those clips; I just have a thing for linking everyone I know to WW clips on youtube)

Yup, all my HG Pokemon are girls. I lucked out and my Chikorita was female first time, but I had to save before getting the Togepi egg, run around trying to hatch it, have it be a boy, and then restart a good few times. Haha, yup; Scout's from To Kill a Mockingbird (I had to read it in school, too, and it's still one of my favourites :)). Elphaba's from Wicked, Clarissa's from Mrs. Dalloway and Matilda's from the Roald Dahl book of the same name XD

I find it really hard to pick my favourite; GSC, I think, was best gameplay-wise, and RBY is amazing for nostalgia value, and RSE was the series I put most time into... I was disappointed with Diamond and Pearl, but I've played Platinum recently and enjoyed it a lot more. And I'm extremely excited about Black and White :D

Holy moley, your nicknames are adorable <3 I like Syrup and Mint best (clearly I have a thing for edible names) but they're all wonderful. Your team looks really balanced, too. Good luck with Red! I managed to beat him, but he used up all my Max Revives DX At least his Snorlax doesn't have Rest anymore.

And I found my Flying Pikachu! :D Your good luck worked (thank you!) because it didn't take me too long to find one~ And even though Fly's a weaker move, I'm still glad, because I didn't have a Pokemon with Fly on my team! :D
Heya! I was thinking the other day that I haven't spoken to you in ages (and how that was sad and completely my fault), and then you message me :)

    Hiiii~ How've you been?

Yup, HG/SS came out very soon after they did in the US, actually, which was nice, because we normally have to wait months.
I got SoulSilver the day it came out (and got a little Lugia figurine that I'm very fond of because I preordered it) and my team at the moment is Feraligatr (Leo), Ampharos (CJ), Flareon (Donna), Alakazam (Toby), Ursaring (Sam) and a Fly slave/whoever I'm training to evolve. The nicknames are on a theme - they're all named after characters from The West Wing :D
I got HeartGold a little while ago, too, and my team on there's a little more original; I've only just beaten Chuck, but my team at the moment is Meganium (Elphaba), Butterfree (Clarissa), Nidorina (Matilda) and Togetic (Scout). The theme being literary heroines this time XD
Anyways, I'm enjoying them so, so much <33 GSC were my favourite gen, and the remakes have really done them justice. I'm in love with my Pokewalker, too; I finally managed to download the Yellow Forest and have been furiously trying to get a Surfing or Flying Pikachu ever since XD

What's your team like, and how are you enjoying the games?
Happy Birthday! :D Umm I don't know what that is really I just thought being drawn as a spoon all the time is a bit boring. Ehe. Hope you're having a good day!
Hahaha; next time I see her, I'll pass on the message XD
The, uh rabbit-thingy (I need to come up with a name for her) is pretty adorable, actually; I want to see your snowflake-dog-thing so much~ :3

B-but work's so boring! D: No, you're right. I'm determined to do really well this year, and it's going very well so far, mostly because the stuff I have to write about is really interesting. How's school and such going for you?

Guh, scanners hate me, too. I used to have one at home that worked, but then it decided to uninstall itself or something and then just hasn't worked since, so if I want to upload something, I have to use the library's scanner, my housemate's scanner or my (slightly dodgy) camera. Printers and MP3 players also hate me for some reason. I hope you manage to get yours working~!

And thanks again; you're lovely <3
Maybe I'll try and get my housemate to lend me her scanner for a bit so I can scan in my doodles, then; they're not too bad, and they're just mostly of this weird creature I keep drawing that kinda looks like a rabbit with antlers, zebra stripes, a dragon tail and bat wings. She's fairly cool, though I say so myself :D

D'aww, your support is very much appreciated; I've got a couple of ideas for pictures, but I'm gonna be busy over the next few days (I've got two essays due by the end of term and I haven't started either), but creativity in the form of drawing could be a pretty good break for when I get bored; I'll give it a go, I promise :)

I had a look at the DraMo thread and it looks so good! I might join partway through (which probably isn't allowed, but hey), if I get my drawing mojo going again. It'd be good if I could :3
How come you haven't scanned your DraMo pictures up yet? I'd love to see them~ Uh, I can't think of much in terms of inspiration except making up my rabbit-thing was really great fun; combine animal parts and see what you come up with?
    Good luck with it! :D
    I knooooow I let it diiiie D:

I just haven't been drawing a lot recently; uni's been really busy and I just haven't been very creative at all of late; except for a few doodles here and there, I haven't actually drawn anything in months ): I really miss it.

Hopefully over the Christmas break I'll get some stuff drawn; I've just been watching a lot of TV with real people in while at the same time being all "Muuuuh I can't draw humans D:" and as a result, I haven't, well, drawn anything. I need to think more positively.

Still, it's still no excuse for totally ignoring everyone else's art threads too; have you been doing much drawing of late?
Ah, um... well, I guess that I have a new phone~ That plays music. And um, I actually danced in front of people at a Halloween party. That was good~

Chemistry. D= I took that subject a while ago, the math made it kinda hard. Orange soda sounds delightful though.

I don't really have any plans in specific. I do owe a large number of people birthday gifts though, so I figure I'll take the chance to do them then. I'll also work more on my Creations, and a large number of things I have to draw.

    What about you?
Yeah, I've been a bit mopey too lately. Still having a few problems with some friends, and also, lack of motivation. DX Ruts are a bit troubling to get out of, I know. I hope you feel better~

    Ah, it was nothin'~ ^^
Aaah, I've been doing all right~ A bit stressed out, and a few issues with friends, but I'm doing okay. ^^ I have much less of a homework load than I did before, because they changed my schedule to like, block scheduling, which is when I have different classes everyday, less classes, for longer amounts of time than the same ones everyday. It results in less homework, at least.

    And you?
Hey! It's lovely to hear from you :)

I've been okay, actually; I finished my finals this week (Wednesday) and they were pretty stressful; I'm really scared that I might've failed my last one, but I'm trying not to think about it; what's done is done :3
And now I'm back home (which is lovely because I don't have to cook my own food and stuff), but the internet's being a bit crappy.

...and that's about it. I'm pretty boring at the moment. X3

    How's everything with you?
Yay, I'm glad you like him~ You're more than welcome :D
I have the game, but haven't played much, so I can't really remember who the characters are, but I ended up picking Jowee because scarf + goggles = very cool :)
Spanish homework... then after this I have to read twenty pages... and it is just UGH OVERLOAD. I just want to go to sleep... am really tired.

What's his name? This Polish War Hero? You guys are lucky you got off school because of this guy~ Oooh and uhh... what about... a Narutochu? Would be awesome in my opinion.
I'm doing it actually... it's just... ugh boring.

Wow, sounds fun~ A ski trip and a Polish War Hero! MATRIXCHU. ;;Insanely amused by the thought of this;; Oh geez, Danni's birthday picture sounds epic!
    Oh me?

Procrastinating on homework, being generally lazy, talking to people on MSN. Nothing productive, I'm so lazy~

    What about you, Spoonie?
