• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Arkra Guardians

Aria rushed outside, followed by her Luxray, who was about as tall as she was. "I would ride on your back, but that would tire you out," Aria joked.
"Lux," said Lexi.

Ming watches the Grovyle grab Arkra, dragging to ferthur ahead into a close by town. She sprints after them, never looking back at the lab behind them.

Those poor people within that building...they have no hope.

After the order to leave, Summer's Pokemon joined her. "I didn't have time to introduce me!" she said in a tone of joke.

"This is no time to play, Summer! Recall them and jump onto my back!" Pyro was serious. She did what he said and waited for new orders.

((I won't have access to the internet, so Summer will follow the group.))

Watt charged after Arkra and the others, bracing himself to absorb any lightning that threatened to harm them or attack anyone that stood in the way, with Mila and Jewel running a short way behind him, side by side. New Moon and Tsunami acted as if though they didn't care, even though they would come racing to the rescue if something attacked, jogging a ways behind everyone else, whispering in each others ears and chuckling occasionally, sharing some private joke.

Kailani and his garchomp fell behind so that they were in the back of the group. The duo were silent during the walk, staying on guard for any attack that would inevitably come.

What will they face, I wonder, when we reach the designated location. What will I be forced to fight, menawhile?

Aria recalled her Luxray and watched the others before running back to the middle of the group. Now that her Pokémon was safe, she could worry about herself.

(Oh sorry, I forgot about this. D: I'm going to be stubborn and not let it die! Also, um, I'm going to add relationships and whatnot. So if any of you guys want your characters to have relationships with each other, just get approval of the other person in some way. And yes, you can have a relationship with Arkra.

I've decided to leave this RP Open, just in case anyone who wants to help me bring this back to life wants to join. And I've updated the rules, you can now choose to play as a Pokémon without a trainer and so on and so forth.)

They stopped at the town.

Arkra was exhausted. She panted and looked at Noah sadly. "Was that... was that really necessary? I didn't even have a chance, a chance to say goodbye properly."

The Grovyle sighed. "Look Arkra... I'm only trying to protect you, you know that. This mission, even if I don't approve if it, I still have to keep you safe from harm. It isn't going to be fun and games and you have to accept that."

She gazed at the ground silently, knowing he was right.

"This is why I never wanted you to go on this mission! Look, look at how upset it's making you! Why, why should you have to care about the other humans?"

"Noah, I just can't let them die. I've told you countless times, I could never live with myself."

His piercing yellow eyes glared at her. That reason to him... it was just not acceptable. But he knew there was no use trying to argue with her.

"...It isn't safe here either. We should stock up on supplies and then leave." The Grovyle said, still keeping his eyes on the girl.

((It said I can have as many characters as I want.

Name: Existence

Species: Spiritomb

Age: He's the equivalent of a human teenager.

Gender: Male

History: His ex-Trainer humorously named him "I Exist." The Trainer left him at a Pokemon Center and told Existence that he'd be back, but even after weeks he never did. Existence fled the Pokemon Center and changed his name. He now lives in a dark alley not far from the Arkra Guardians' meeting building.

Personality: Wise and unselfish, Existence is good at decieving people but only does it to his enemies. Even so, he rarely does it. He finds peaceful solutions to problems and will protect his allies with his life.

Appearance: No special features. He looks like a swirling purple blob with dots near the edge. He sits in a fissure in an odd keystone.

Alignment: Existence wants to join the Arkra Guardians.

Other: Charcill.

Name: Sar

Species: Pinsir

Age: The equivalent of a human teenager.

Gender: Female

History: Sar lived with her parents on Route 229. The family was attacked by a horde of Pokemon that Sar didn't recognise. Quickly she fled to Route 209 where she met Existence. They traveled together to the city, waiting in an alley near the meetingplace.

Personality: Sar is easily angered and will attack when she is angry. However it is easy to make friends with her. She trusts Existence highly and is very protective of him.

Appearance: No special features. She looks something like a two-legged elipse with arms and white horns.

Alignment: Sar wants to join the Arkra Guardians.

Other: Charcill.

... :D ))

((Okay!))

"So we're going to leave sometime soon?" asked Corison. "Something might happen."

Two shadows lurked nearby....

"We'll have to leave very soon... Yes, I can feel it too." Noah gazed around the surrounding area, he could sense an odd looming presence...

"Arkra, you go into that store and stock up for supplies... We'll keep watch." Somehow, the Grovyle had become the leader of the group, Arkra could tell. Nobody would challenge his authority... It made her feel somewhat inferior. She was supposed to be his trainer, wasn't she? The brave Arkra, of the Arkra Guardians! He wasn't supposed to boss around her group, named after, guess who? Her.

She wanted to be a leader. It was something she had always wanted. But she knew she had neither the authority nor power. The girl sighed and obeyed the true leader of the Arkra Guardians, going into a nearby mart just as he had commanded.

In the shadows of a dark alley, invisible to the guardians, were two Pokemon.

"One has left....." a swirling purple thing said quietly. The grin on its face was frozen into the cackling expression of a dead spirit.

"I see..." Another one spoke up. It was brownish-gray with two cruel horns protruding from its head.

"Is it time now? We're getting anxious..."

"Wait just a few moments," its companion responded.

"Summer, keep watching." Summer sighed and looked around lazily. Pyro was taking this too seriously, but it would be no use to argue.

Summer felt a muscle on Pyro's back twitching. Though she couldn't say, Pyro sensed the wind changing its direction, and an unfamiliar scent being dragged by it. "We have company..." He muttered to himself, discretly looking around.

"One noticed us...." whispered the Spiritomb. "When should we go?"

"Now is the time...." the Pinsir nudged the stone on which the spirit was positioned.

"Works for us..."

The Spiritomb came out of the shadows, flicking his gaze toward a Grovyle. "Who might you be....? We would like to know...."

The Pinsir stepped out and positioned herself next to her friends. "There are 109 of us here," she said. "Cooperate and we shall not harm you."

"Lux!"
Lexi jumped, turning to the newcomers and guarding Aria closely. She growled, crouching, her fur sparking with electricity. Aria knew that her Luxray could Spark at any moment.

Noah glared at the Spiritomb and Pinsir who had just appeared.

"What are you doing here?" He demanded, his yellow eyes looking piercingly at the newcomers. Whoever they were, they couldn't be any good. Cooperate with us and we shall not harm you... that didn't sound like something anyone of any good intention would say. The Grovyle was suspicious... were they bluffing about there being 109 of them?

He growled, continuing to stare them down. "Just what are your intentions...? How do I know you're not lying?"

Pyro laughed dryly for himself. Summer noticed the muscles again. "What's up?"

Not wanting to ruin the newcomers' fun, he simply said "Oh, nothing." Noticing Summer's curiosity, he added "Check the Pokedex if you really want to know."

The girl pointed her red device to the green and purple void. After checking the the data, she petted the Arcanine and gave a short, dry laugh herself.

((I hope the Pokedex thing is alright. I mean, she's a trainer...))

"What's up?" Dent said, he and Typhoon had followed the group all along, of course.

Dent was still a Rattata, but he transformed to human now, careful so that none of the humans saw him.

"Next time, transform when you've jumped offa me..." Typoohn whispered.

"Oops, sorry Typh. I forgot.." Dent jumped of Typhoon and looked at the Spiritomb and the Pinsir.

"Repeating, what's up?"

kailani regarded the two pokemon that had appeared.

"Heh, heh. Not that I'd tell you, but what's our identities to you two? yu're jsut two poekmno that- form my viewpoint- don't look all too threatening."

"We search for the Arkra Guardians...." The Spiritomb's voice came and went with the wind. "If you are them, please say so."

The Pinsir clacked its horns together a couple of times, almost like applause, except slower.
