• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Do you forget something easily?

All the time. Most of the time I'll go into the bathroom/kitchen and just stand there going WHY AM I HERE GOD then I'll go back upstairs and be like OH I REMEMBER

and the cycle goes on :(

Yes. I'll get up to do something, then wonder what I was going to do. Then I'll try to remember. If I remember, I'll go wherever I need to go, then possibly forget AGAIN, and go back to sit down again until I remember.

I also forget why I'm somewhere, and sometimes I'll just go somewhere for no reason and wonder what I'm doing there.

And today I forgot to save when I was playing Platinum. Argh.

I suffer from this horribly. I regularly forget things if I stop thinking about them for about 2 minutes, after which I just sit there trying to think what the hell I was meant to be doing.

This happens to me all the time, I have no idea why. It just does.. Meh, if I do forget something, it probably isn't worth remembering.

No, everything wasn't boring without me, I'm sure.

Quite often. It sucks, because then I have to sit there for like 10 minutes trying to remember it.

I have terrible issues with numbers, both in long- and short-term memory. I can't remember dates, phone numbers or anything like that, and I'll often look at a clock to see the time, and forget it a few seconds later. Worse, when I have to look at a series of numbers and type it into something (like my debit card no. when I'm buying stuff online), I have to do it two numbers at a time; any more and I'll muddle them up ):

I usually have a good memory; I can remember someone at school who I never talk to's friend's mum's birthday. But I can never remember the tiniest things. Did I turn the light off five seconds ago? I check, and it's off. Then I have to check again because I forgot again D:

I forgot how to do trigonometry yesterday. I've remembered now though.

over MSN I'll say to people: "Oh I have a link to show you!" with this particular site in mind.
I'll proceed open up the internet and think: "Why did I do that?"
Then I'll flick back to the MSN page and think: "...Which link was I sending again?"

I usually never ever forget anything. It's a gift and a curse. This means if I do something good, I'll remember it and feel good about it. Great, right? However, when I do something not so good, I'll remember it forever. And never forget about it.

With regular things, it depends on how focused I am on what I'm doing.

Occasionally, when I go up to the bathroom, I end up almost getting a drink when I realise "Hey, wait ..." Or, I completely forget what I was doing and just go back to what I was doing before, remembering when I return ><

Forget what now, what were we talking about... *checks topic title*

Oh, well than that should be explanitory enough...
