Open Dreams of the Past

Skaldia snorted. "Just perfect. As soon as I get back to the air, I get attacked and break my wing, and find myself with no one who knows how to set it. I like this time less and less..." The Aerodactly gritted her teeth, eyeing Rasu somewhat warily. "So the humans are in a very tight spot, aren't they? Tell me... does your kind still talk of legendary Pokemon?" If they didn't, it wouldn't surprise her. If they had forgotten so much, why not forget what purified the water, brought rain and formed land? It still bothered her that they lacked so much.

It wasn't like she couldn't expect the world not to change while she had been sleeping, but to have no trainers, no Pokemon League? To think that Lance had been her last trainer... "If you can just at least move the wing a bit, I'll leave you and your leader alone." she told the human. "No need to bother those who are... afraid of me."

Rasu looked at the Aerodactyl apologetically. "I'm sorry... Mourmedy is bringing in the scientists though, so maybe... maybe they'll know something. Legendary Pokémon? I've... I've never heard of such a thing... I'm sorry again..." She took her hands off her body, having completed her examination. "Look, let me be truthful with you... I don't think Mourmedy is going to let you go so easily. And with the condition you're in right now... Even me moving your wing probably wouldn't work, you couldn't get far without some professional help."

At that moment, the door came right open. And in entered a very aggrieved-looking Mourmedy. Her cold eyes seemed like two dulled daggers. Rasu knew better than to ask what was wrong though. Nobody could get anything out of her that way. It was probably Atticus... She knew.

Behind the woman came several men dressed in white.

"So this is the creature...?" Asked one of them.

Rasu nodded. "And I have completed my examination on it... it appears to have a broken wing, but I don't think I know how to mend it. I could attempt it, but it might be risky." The scientists gazed at her, apparently in deep thought. Then they walked over to the Aerodactyl.

"I... I used to be a Pokémon researcher." Admitted one of the older scientists, his eyes looking guilty. "I can't say I'm not ashamed... but I do know something about Pokémon physiology. I could try to mend the wing, with some help from your doctor..."

"Very well... All of you, aid him in fixing this despecable beast's wing. The faster it is mended, the faster we can be rid of this thing." Her voice seemed to sound extremely aggitated. The woman walked over to Rasu.

"What is it...?"

"I've just received word. Some people have spotted a 'bizarre floating creature' in the city... "

(Oh and Mourmedy's talking about Sinar, not Exo Raikou's char.)

Skaldia kept silent. Going into a tirade about how blind they were wasn't the wisest choice when surrounded by Pokemon-loathing humans. Deciding to just think of what the floating creature could be, she supposed it was probably the Dusknoir, but couldn't it turn invisible to keep from being spotted? So then, it might be just a wild Pokemon, venturing in by accident.

The pain in her body seemed to be ebbing, mainly focused on her back instead of all her limbs, tail and head as well. Maybe, if she just stayed still and let them mend her wing, Mourmedy would just let her leave without any real confrontation. Being in pain, she wasn't well-prepared for trying to reason with someone who hated her so much. Who knew that another's death could cause such strong emotions?

((Once again, Zrantox gets refferred to as "Exo-Raikou's Character". You can call him the Dusknoir, or even use his name, you know.))

The Dusknoir finally spotted something of interest:

A Human in a white coat was running through the run-down city. He was running so fast, he ran right through Zrantox without even realizing it.

Hmm. I could probably get something out of this. Better yet, i follow him, and once he's reached his destination, I kill him.

Zrantox turned fully invisible.

Let's have some fun now...

Sinar continued onward, though it didn't really know where it was going. A white-clad human dashed past, but glanced back at Sinar. Then along came the Dusknoir, though it was physically invisible, the spirit showed up clearly in Sinar's mind. Sinar stopped the human that was running, Stop., and the human stopped, unable to resist. You look like a human who knows things. An Aerodactyl has gone missing, have you seen her?
The human looked around, then centered on Sinar, suddenly aware that it was talking to him. "I.. don't know."
Sinar then went through the humans thoughts and sifted out the location of a building in bad shape. You do know. And now I know. I thank you., Sinar said as it dashed off.

Zrantox stopped as the Solrock he'd crossed paths with before appeared and began to ahve a "conversation" with the human. When it was finished, the Solrock floated away and the human continued to run, but even faster.

I wonder what that was all about... Ah, no matter. Once this human gets to where he'd going... I'll reveal myself, and it will be the last thing he'll see.

"What are we going to do...?" Rasu muttered under her breath.

"We? Nothing. I will handle this, it's too dangerous for the rest of you... You stay here and focus on your task, helping to mend this beast." Mourmedy was extremely concerned... what if that horrid Dusknoir... the one who k-k... did that terrible thing to Atticus... found its way into the city? She shuddered at the horrors that monsterous thing would do, shuddered not only with fear, but with rage.

"Are you sure? I don't think this is something you can handle by yourself."

"It doesn't matter whether I can handle it or not... what matters is that nobody else d-d... " She trailed off, unable to say that word... that terrible word. "Obey your orders, Rasu." And with that, she left the room, her shining weapon at the ready.

Rasu went over to the Aerodactyl with the scientists, sighing. They had already began the process of attempting to mend its wing.

"Maybe I should've stopped her..."

After a short while, the human finally reached a run-down looking building.

Perfect

Moments before he opened the door. Zrantox turned visible, grabbed the human, and slammed him into the side of the building.

"Time to talk. What are you- an official looking human- if there is such a thing- doing here, at this run down place?"

The human was scared out of his wits. He managed to say: "Examination... of specimen."

"Heh, heh. You honestly think that I'll believe that? Now tell me the truth, or die."

"I'm telling you the turth! I was one of the scientists that works here. i heard that there was a commotion involving a pokemon, and it was at the labs."

"What? That's impossib- wait... what species?"

The human was so terrified, he now didn't say anything.

Zrantox seized the human's throat with one hand. "Last chance..."

Despite being half choked, the human whispered: "Aero...dactyl."

Aerodactly... that- hold on... that's impossible!

Zrantox threw the human through the wall. he then smashed through the hole he'd jsut formed, hands, glowing with Ghost Energy.

Sinar reached the building, hiding from the scientist who would undoubtedly come. He did, and the Dusknoir followed. After a short exchange, the Dusknoir proceeded to smash the human through the wall and plodded through. Sinar floated over to the door and opened it. It told the Dusknoir, Yes, they're holding the slumbering Aerodactyl here.
Sinar looked around, and spotted the mind of the female human from before, and told her, If you value your life, I'd be careful.

Good. I have a score to settle.

Zrnatox began to float through the building, killing any human that was foolish enough to get too close. (There weren't that many, givne that most had seen him throw one of their own trhough a wall.

Where is she...

Hmm... so that idiotic creature seemed to think it could warn her, did it? She grimaced... there was an extra special weapon she had brought just for the Dusknoir. Just for that murderous monster.

There would be no more playing for her, oh no. Because this was never a game in the first place. And soon, that monster would realize it. She would make sure of that.

Mourmedy burst out of the building and waited...

"Come on out, you stupid bastard... I dare you."

Movement caught the Dusknoir's eye.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't that lying scum that was in the cave"

He Began to float toward her, Dark energy gathering in his Hands.

"I think it's high time I show you what happens to humans like yourselves who don't know their place."

The Dusknoir gathered more Dark Enegry, and then fired a Twin Dark Pulse at the human.

"Die!"

Ancea hid behind a boulder as a Hiker came walking up her path. As soon as it disappeared, she emerged. But then the boulder began to roll down the hill. That was when Ancea noticed that it was a Graveler. As it rumbled down the slope, she continued leaping up, her movements similar to a Scyther's.

Qua saw that he was headed for a city. He didn't know whether he should steer clear or go through, but his feet didn't let him turn for some reason.

People will be terrified if they see a Tyranitar! What should I do?

He managed to stop and sat down to think. Maybe if he used Sandstorm, he could hide himself. It had to be a gentle, but large one.

No, might damage the people too much. I wonder if there's any way someone can create a distraction.... I know! A harmless distraction!

Qua backed up for awhile so that he was still near to the city, but an explosion wouldn't nearly touch it. He opened his mouth and charged, and fired a Hyper Beam at the ground. He escaped from the cloud of dust and hid behind a building tall enough so that he could go into the city when humans rushed over.

Mourmedy reacted without even a thought to the Dark Pulses, managing to dodge the first with astonishing agility, but feeling the blow of the second upon her left shoulder. The woman did not flinch, however, not one flinch. She was determined, determined to show that this beast could not best her.

Clutching the slightly burnt shoulder with her right hand, she aimed her shining pistol at the Dusknoir, pure hatred carved in her sharp features. Her eyes were contrary to their usual sharp and cold state, this time staring scaldingly at that gruesome thing[/I]. It was going to get it, pure and sweet and swift justice. Or dammit all to hell, she would die trying.

"You think you can escape this one by disappearing, don't you... you bastard? Using those dirty tricks of yours, dirty damn tricks." Though this one was much smaller than the other shining weapon she had used and packed much less of a punch, it was the only one she could use to hit that freaking Dusknoir...

Mourmedy pulled the trigger and it let forth three small shots of an odd greenish almost plasmic energy at that monster in rapid succession.

Halan gets up from where he sat, streching his limbs out.

"...Well, this is boring."

He decides to start wandering, looking for any sign of life in this new world.

But from what I gather, Humans aren't going to like me being here

Halan shrugs, strolling through the forest silently. He then starts to wonder what became of all the others from that cave. He hops that the Ayrodacyl was at least ok, not sure what happened when he fled from the cave. He remebers hearing a gun shot, but didn't know what came of it.

"Geuss I'll figure out that when I meet up with the others"

"Why do that when I can simply take them out with Darkness?"

Zrantox then proceded to counter them with Dark Pulse.

"I don't know what those are supposed to do, and I don't care. I'll jsut have to kill you like I did to your precious comrade, heh heh."

The Dusknoir then gathered a Shadow Ball in each hand. He then slammed his hands together, sending a shcokwave of GHost energy at the human.

Fyrix looked around with confusion. She had been following Sinar, but had no idea where she was. There were people staring at her and shouting something, she couldn't tell what.
"And that's my cue to get out of here."
She turned and began flying away back to where she'd come from, hoping the humans wouldn't try to stop her or attack.

Qua lumbered through the streets. The humans were distracted by the explosion and in that area, so he had time to hurry around. He could hear various loud noises coming from a nearby building. He started over, wanting to see what was inside.

No, I'm better off not getting into anything.

The Tyranitar couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong in there. He stood by, waiting to see what he should do. He constantly glanced over his shoulder to make sure the humans weren't coming.

She... she couldn't do this alone, could she...?

The woman attempted to dodge the Shadow Ball, but was finding clutching her injured shoulder to be too cumbersome. It collided with her left side, crashing into her with tremendous force. She dropped the shining pistol.

Her face contorted in immense pain as she limped down to the ground, on her knees, balancing herself with her only free hand whilst the other continued to grip her hurt shoulder. It felt as if every bone in her left side had collasped within her, brutally injured...

So this was how it was going to end... Her, humiliated, reduced to a helpless mess upon the ground. Just the very thought, just the very thought! The angry was bubbling caustically within her and there was nothing she could freaking do about any of this.

What a way to die, what a way to go... Stripped of all her dignity.

"...I think we've managed to successfully mend this thing." Exclaimed the older scientist, looking down upon his work somewhat proudly. They had all put a sling on Scaldia's broken wing, to aid it in the recovery process.

Rasu looked at the Aerodactyl, concern evident in her eyes. Since when did Mourmedy do such reckless things, go fight on her own...? It wasn't like her at all. She always planned ahead.

"How are you feeling...?" She asked the Pokémon, her voice anxious and quiet.
