Scariest Bosses?

How could I forget Pyramid Head.... X_X

In my opinion, the Manniquins and Closers are scarier than Pyramid Head. Though I have to admit, I actually screamed and cried when I was around six or seven and my older brother played that game right in front of me and he said that Pyramid Head eats little girls and a cutscene showed him 'eating' someone. It turned out P.H. was just raping a dead body(I think a Manniquin), but I still scared the shit out of me.

I don't remember where, but there is a game where one boss is a giant Jester-like creature with an eye in it's crotch which it shoots lasers from.

yeah..

Some other ones I'd like to mention are the Pain and the Sorrow from metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The Pain is a living beehive, and the bees dig themselves into his enemies and eat them from within until they die. And the Sorrow sends the ghost of everyone you have killed at you. this includes every single fucking grunt soldier you have killed so far, and they all have damages which represent how you killed them. If you broke one's neck, then he slowly walks after you, with his head in a unnatural position, while yelling "My neck! My neck!" The fact you're in a river filled with dead fishes doesn't help, either. Plus that right before the battle, the Sorrow cries blood!

Oh yeah, if you killed the End's Parrot, it too, haunts you, there is something very creepy about a ghost parrot yelling "Grandpa! grandpa!" Especially since you most likely shot it, then cooked it and ate it.
Speaking of the End, he also haunts you, by floating face-down in the river.

The Undead Core from Cave Story, it's just freaky, sometimes there's a giant, empty face with a raging expression, while at other times there's a giant mouth while the four mini-cores surrounding it becomes eyes.

Then there's Ultimecia's final form from some Final Fantasy game, I don't remember, nor do I care. In place of her legs, there's a pale, female body with long, silvery hair tied up with a painful, screaming expression.

Certainly not the scariest bosses out there, but I can't be the only person who nearly fell off my chair when they first saw how huge the bosses in Wind Waker are. Not scary, more intimidating, like, "holy shit that is one gigantic scorpion aaah".

For me, it's Marx Soul and Giygas. At the end of the Giygas fight, he looks like something in a blender.
As for Marx Soul... You're fighting him, and them... HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP HE SPLIT IN HALF! XP

I got a few from RE4. U3 ("It"), the Garradors, and Salazar. Not Las Plagus Salazar either; I mean his regular form. A creepy, midget, albino old man who claims he's only 20 years old. Yeah...

The Puppet Master from Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. He sounds creepy, looks creepy, and makes demonic dolls attack oyu while trying to encase you in an iron maiden.

Blizzeta from twilight princess shes freaky looking in this veideo of a guys 10 ten scariest bosses http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEwxaDutkWEaccording to him,she freezes you, screams alot(that doenst sound nice..)and boss music is scary, zero two is in it too, along with this ghost thing that creeps me out called giyagas from earthbound

To me, the most freaky thing about Blizzeta is the immense change, as Yeta was incredible gentle and kinda adorable, and then BAM, Blizzeta.

Giygas isn't actually a ghost, he's an alien who became so evil he lost his physical shape, and mind too, I'd like to add.

Bosses that have been mentioned that I agree with:

Marx Soul, Blizzeta, Giygas

And has anyone forgotten Majora's last form from Majora's mask. That thing would always freak me out, especially when it did those high pitched shrieks. I HATED it when it did that.

That's also the reason I got the Fierce Deity's mask, because I wanted to get that boss over with.

Majora is kinda creepy in itself. A homicidal, sadistic mask hellbent on making the moon crash into Termina, just because it can. Not to mention the moon itself, I mean, LOOK AT THAT FACE.

And while he's not a real boss in any sense, the Spy gives me the creeps, I hate trying to snipe a bit just to find my corpse with a knife in its back and the freezecam zooming in on some bastardly Spy running away.
That might just be the one reason I play as Pyro, to get revenge on the bastards.

Lisa Trevor. Just cause she can't be killed, she makes creepy screeching sounds, and the first encounter with her.... *shudders*

There's also Mr. X; he always seems to come out of nowhere, mostly because whenever he's encountered, Leon or Claire, whoever is on scenario B, always happens to have the bad luck to be getting in his way of the retrieval of the G-Virus.

And some of those Necromorphs on Dead Space are just... What the fuck?

Oh yeah, and YHWH in Shin Megami Tensei II is rather scary too... Especially since when you finally get to it, you realize; "Holy shit... I'm fighting the source of all gods; a true god itself. ohfuckimscrewed"

Kagutsuchi in Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne is also kinda scary, giving the almost the same feel as YHWH, but not quite. Its After Transformation always scared the shit out of me though, cause it's just a giant face made out of glowy cubes.

And from Nocturne again; fighting Lucifer himself in the True Demon ending. At first, it just comes out of nowhere because on all other endings, Kagutsuchi is the final boss. But no. If you decide to take the True Demon path (Thus recruiting Dante into your party), he comes to you in an area of complete nothingness, turns really big and giant, and forces you to fight him. I'll just say here that he looks really fucking menacing, and he's damn impossible to beat unless you're on at least your third New Game Plus.

Black Tiger in the REmake always scared me, but that's just my arachnophobia getting to me.

I'm having difficulty seeing how Marx Soul is scary. Course, maybe its because I'm usually pumped full of adrenaline by the time I reach him in the True Arena. Kirby gets me excited on the harder modes. XD

I found his laugh, that weird grin, and the scream he makes when he died scary. On a side note, I beat him with the Stone power, and if I had a video recording device I'd put it up.

This definitely. Especially when trying to beat it without an ability (which I'm still trying to do blaaargh I can make it past all the other bosses D:).

And Exo, aside from its coloration, you just stated everything I like about him. :<

EDIT: Well, there is one thing. I flinch everytime he pops out of the shadows (you know, the one that travels along the ground) sooner than I think he will. But that's because I'm easily startled. XP

I'd like to say that Nightmare from Metroid Fusion is a bit creepy, he's a giant ghostly robot-thing who begins crying green goo when he takes s fair bit of damage, after a while his helm blows up and you get to see it's actually a part of his face. You really have to see to understand.

That reminded me... A lot of Metroid bosses are pretty creepy. Especially in Fusion, for some reason. I think it's the combination of the creepy music and sound effects (and the way a lot of the bosses just kind of appear out of nowhere right after you enter a big empty room) that really make it work.

Giygas was really freaky too, but for some odd reason the battle never really scared me that much. Then again, I can't remember any boss from a video game that really scared me (a few Metroid bosses probably came the closest.)

THE FREAKIN' FLOORMASTERS from LoZ.

Nothing, in any game ever, has scared me more than those things.

I used to have nightmares involving things pulling me through the floor and I get flashbackes ever damn time I see one of those things.

Not a boss, but the Black Ops from Half Life freak me out because they move so fast and I never have any idea which direction they're coming from.

Oh, and the very final boss fight from Tales of Symphonia, if you catch the hint that Mithos' inner demons (a la the optional bosses in Welgeia) are litteraly raging outside of his control to continue the fight...

Giygas. A million times Giygas.

Other than him, I remember that Spore Spawn from Super Metroid gave me nightmares for years, but that probably has more to do with the fact that I was four years old at the time. He doesn't scare me now. Mother Brain in her crazy chicken-body, however, freaks the hell out of me every time. And the first Torizo, while not hard, is still freaky, both in his surprise appearance and they way he moves.

Also seconding Pyramid Head, but he's at his scariest outside the boss battles. Probably his scariest moment is right after you find his knife in the labyrinth. You walk out of the room and HOLYSHITTHEREHEISANDHEHASASPEARNOWANDISTWICEASFAST
