Open The Hunt for The Ceus Stone

Lux was placed on the ground, still in her coiled state. She watches her father dart toward the new comers and let out a soft warning for her father to be safe before slinking back down to the ground and looking sad and depressed at the broken twigs on the ground. She looks up at the Breloom who seemed to want to comfort her. She gives him a small smiles, her tongue flicking out to smell in the air.

"Yeah...to tell the truth...i hope to use the stone to cure me once Dad uses it to bring Mom back...maybe then he'll stop being so protective all the time and let me live my life when I'm better. Until then, all I can do is drape myself around his shoulders and take my medicine..."

She looks off to the side, a look of anger flickering at the sides of her eyes.

"Damn this cursed blood of mine. It's her defective genes that have made me sick. If only she wasn't a carrier of such a blood borne illness I'd be free to live a life I choose. But no. I have to stay close to my Dad...the only one that can medicate me to keep me alive."

She looks back at the Breloom, a sad smile on her face.

"Sorry...didn't mean to unload on you...I'm Lux by the way."

"Well, that did not work" Ponos thought, moving the flute away from his mouth. "Maybe I should just speak to them, although I have a feeling that the Zangoose might be a little more then hostile"
Then, he lost his balance, and fell down from the tree with a crash.
"Ow"

Lars shrieked when the zangoose charged forward, and quickly identified the attack as an 'X-Scizzor'. He jumped on Ace's head, and whispered "Protect!".

Ace leaned forward, and stomped on the ground with his left leg, standing in a karate/Judo/Kong-fu pose and started charging energy in his hands, creating a barrier between himself and the Zangoose which would crash into it with it's momentum, since no wingless pokemon could turn around while charging at full speed with it's target being 10 feet from it.

Lars loaded up yellow energy in his leaves, creating a yellow barrier just behind Ace's barrier, making sure the attack won't hit them. "We're not here for fighting around! In other words- We come in peace!" He shouted, hoping they won't hve to fight.

(Ace: Protect, Lars: Reflect)

Kaleb woke up from his sleep. He had had quite a nice dream about murdering people, particularly his family. He looked around, and decided to run to the north. He stood up, stretched his leg a little, and started to sprint like crazy. He traveled extremely quickly and before long, he came across a group of Pokemon. There were some catlike Pokemon surrounding a Staraptor, a Bronzong firing a Flareon at a Espeon.

'What's going on here?' he thought to himself. 'That Bronzong looks quite powerful. If i fool him into thinking I'm helping him, but when we find the stone, I'll kill him intently.' He walked towards the group of cat pokemon, then said to the Bronzong "Doesn't seem like a fair fight to me. Need some help?"

He put his heads in a triangular formation, balls of blue, yellow and red energy gathering at each beak. He built up the power, before firing it directly at the Espeon.

Ruby screeched and leaped backward as the Flareon came flying towards her, flung over the heads of her bodyguards. Where she had stood, an exact copy of herself, rigid in her original position. The Flareon crashed into the decoy as planned, the latter fading away instantly.

Before Gladys could react, a new opponent had arrived. Knowing he was too late to dodge, he flattened against the ground and bore the full impact of the blast, collapsing. His eyes flew open as he hit the earth, still conscious, as he counterattacked with a weak jolt of psychic energy which could scramble ones sense of direction. Hopefully that would distract his attacker long enough; though not fit to take hits, he could still deal them.

Malum turned his blank face toward the Dodrio who had arrived.

"I've already allied myself with that Staraptor above the both of us. I don't need another one of you cutting yourselves into my plans."

Speaking of plans, I have a great one for how I can deal with these weaklings.

He fired off another telekinetic blast, this time aimed at the Delcatty. Were this to strike, the cat would be under Malum's control... something the Bronzong planned to capitalize on.

The Zangoose dashed off at the newcomers, claws glowing with energy, leaving Ride alone with the Seviper. The Breloom blinked -- seems like that paranoid Zangoose has placed some trust in him. He better do some good.

Ride turned his attention back to Lux patted the little Seviper on the head. "No worries, mate," he said, glad that the Seviper has perked up slightly. "Oh, and the name's Ride. Nice to meetcha!" He then turned his attention back to the Zangoose. The mongoose pokemon, although clawed and fierce, seemed tiny next to the Tyrannitar. "Think you're daddy's gonna be ok fighting those blokes? I'd give 'im a hand, but don't want to leave ya just sitting here..."

((Um, Linoone, my character fell down from a nearby tree, you wouldn't fail to notice that in real life, now were you?))

Joshua swerved to the left as soon as he saw the barrier, the long thin body and tremendous speed and agility of the mongoose blood in his veins making it easy for him to run laps around the larger and slower Pokemon and dodge such an obvious barrier. He ran at a leisurely pace around the two, red eyes locked on them. He narrowed his eyes when they mentioned peace, and snorted.

"I do not believe you. Prove it." He hissed, stretching out his flexible and strong body as he ran. He eyed Lux and the Breloom as best he could as well.

((Mongoose can run fast. Check it out.))

Lux nuzzles the Breloom hand as he patted her, a small smile on her face. She glances over to the fight at hand and let out a sigh.

"He'll be fine...he knows how to use his strength and good health to the best of his abilities...these two don't know what hit them, Ride."

She then starts to glance around a bit and notes that there was a heap of a body under a tree not far from them. She lifts herself a bit, coiling her tail under her.

"Someone else is here...I...never fought before, but I think I can manage if it's a threat..."

"Oooouch" Ponos said, rubbing his head. "That actually huuurt."
Then he looked in the direction of the Zangoose he saw earlier, who was now fighting someone else. He decided to take the chance to get in touch with the Seviper instead.

"please do not feel hostile," he said, walking towards the Seviper and the Breloom, holding his flute, "I overheard your conversation, as I was resting in the tree I would happen to fall out of."
He had a charming smile on his, and his closed eye just made it look even more charming, as it seemed he winking. He sat down next the Seviper, whom he now had identified as a girl somewhat older the him.
"My name is Ponos, and I have to say I am touched by your story, miss. Few would have the will to live in your condition."
He looked up at the sky, this time looking a bit more depressed.
"I am very impressed by such a strength."

Krae continued to run. He ran constantly north. He never stopped, save for a gulp of water. Eventually, he made it to a forest, but forged on. Along the way, his aura senses sensed that there were two groups nearby, A Zangoose, Turtwig and Tyranitar, and a Seviper, Breloom, and a Gardevior. Not wanting to get caught up it whatever they are doing, so he use extreme speed to get by them quickly. But, he accidentally slightly hit the Seviper, and then tripped on a large, gnarled.

Lux lowers herself again, sensing that the new pokemon wasn't going to be of any real danger. She looks down sadly as the Gardevoir Ponos told her of her strength for simply living with the condition she is in.

"...It's not like I have a choice..."

She looks off to the side, watching her dad run around the bubble of protection.

"Sure...I thought of just dying and being free from it...but then Dad would have no one left. I can't leave him like that after everything he's done to try to keep me alive. He's trying to cure me..."

She let out a sigh, which was followed by a pained yelp when someone stepped on her tail and tripped. She curls her tail under her and licks her tail where it hurt.

"Ow."

Twitch.

Joshua looked up at the sound of his daughter's pained yelp, and darted towards her, abandoning his assault on the Turtwig and Tyranitar. He was at her side in a moment, running his paw over her hurt tail for a moment, then looked around for the offending creature. The Breloom...he was alright, he supposed. A Gardevoir...? He hadn't seen him before, but didn't seem dangerous. A Lucario. His eyes locked on the canine, and he growled.

"Stay here Luxy, maybe this Breloom knows something about medicine..." He cooed, darting away from her and towards the Lucario when he was done.

Krae rubbed his head as he got up from the ground. The aching pain in the back of his head was not that bad, surprisingly. His head snapped towards the direction of a snarling Zangoose. Why would a Zangoose care if a Seviper got hurt? He quickly brushed that thought away from his mind. He needed to stay attentive. He coated his paws with electricity as he charged it inbetween his paws and blasted it towards him.

((Ahhhh sorry Male Gardevoir! I didn't notice your post.... >.< APOLOGIES))

First, a Zangoose and his daughter Seviper. Then, a crazy Tyrannitar and Turtwig. Next, a Gardevoir that falls out of trees -- well, isn't this getting fun. "G'day, mate! Good to know that I wasn't just hearing music in my head," Ride said cheerfully. The Gardevoir said that he wasn't going to attack, so Ride left it as that. The more the merrier, right?

The Gardevoir -- Ponos, as he called himself -- seemed to have a good effect on the poor Seviper as well, for, although she's still a bit sad, she didn't seem like she was about to kill herself anymore.

Then a blur of blue and black tripped over Lux's tail, and the Seviper's cry of pain sent the slightly paranoid Zangoose rushing back. The blue and black blur turned out to be a Lucario, and, before Ride had time to say "Crikey!" again, blasted out a ball of electricity at the Zangoose.

"Whoa, guys, knock it out!" Ride was about to step into the battle before thinking better of it -- the Zangoose did tell him to help Lux, and he couldn't just leave the poor Seviper in pain. Ride thought for a while, weighing over which mixture of spores he should use. Something not very strong, but enough to kill pain, he decided, and concentrated. A small puff of spores burst out of the hole in his cap, and the Breloom carefully gathered it in his claws and handed it to the Seviper. "Here ya go. It should numb the pain, though you might find your tail hard t' move f'r a while."

Lux lowers her head in the Breloom's hands, licking the spores out of his paws with her thin forked tongue. She then lays herself back down and felt herself numbing all over. She coughs a bit, finding the spore dry, but was fine none the less. She then looks over at her father getting into another fight.

"Dad. Can you please stop fighting everyone that appears? It was a accident."

((Hey! Lars and Ace aren't crazy!))

Lars shrugged, seeing the strange Zangoose seemed to be extremly defensive when it came to the seviper, something that irritated both Lars and Ace.

"This could get ugly..." Ace said and crossed his arms on his chest in the form of an 'X' as balls of red and blue flames, electricity crackling inside them, started swirling around him as his muscles started growing, draconic power pulsing in his veins.

Lars jumped off Ace's head, not wanting to get caught inside the dragon flames, and nodded, saying "Im afraid that's likely". He shrugged again, and started loading up green energy in his leaves, the energy slowly turning blue, and the leaves on his head started becoming longer, and, more importantly, sharper. "I wonder why these adult pokemon always have to attack us..." He mumbled, and then looked towards the Zangoose-probably a mad one-fighting a Lucario.
(Ace: crappily described Dragon dance, Lars: Swords dance)

Ace started digging in the ground, making Lars a sign and saying "Im sick of this guy. If you ask me, you can help either of them, but it's not my problem and im not going to fight against a creature that can blow me up by simly releasing a pulse of energy towards me." angrily, digging much faster and soon disappearing.

Lars shrugged, and then looked towards the two pokemon. Focus...
Lars' leaves started glowing light green, and he released a flurry of leaves towards the Lucario, hoping they could do him at least some damage. Because he charged energy before, chances were they would hurt him depsite not being very effective on his steel type. He ran forward, hoping the Zangoose would realize he wanted to help him.
(Razor leaf)

Ace popped his head out of the ground, a few feet from the breloom and the Seviper. "Psst!" He said, loud enough for them to hear, but not enough for the Zangoose that was located at least 40 feet from them. The sun was shining over them, blinding Ace a little, but relaxing him by the fact that Lars would have an easier time using Synthesis. "Could any of you two tell me why that Zangoose attacks every single pokemon he meets?" He asked with a hint of anger in his voice.
(Dig)

((Question: Would it be legal for Lars to learn attacks like earthquake/Stone edge?
That is, he could if he wouldn't have swallowed an everstone.))

"Well, good day to you to, Ride" Ponos said, and then things happened to quickly for him. And then he heard another voice and found himself staring at a Tyranitar poke out it's face from the ground. Things was not going the way he wanted.
"You happen to disturb my conversation with this Seviper here" He said, sounding obviously annoyed, "And I would like to suggest you leave while I'm still being friendly, I have things to ask her"

((I certainly hope you did take "How to not pick a fight with Psychics-classes"))

((Um, Male Gardevoir, I think Ace is a Tyrannitar...))

So much excitement in so little time. Where did all these pokemon come from anyway? Another "Crikey!" later, Ride found himself looking at the back of a Tyrannitar's head. The Breloom turned around the Tyrannitar that was standing a yards away has disappeared -- so this Tyrannitar should be the same as the one that was fighting the Zangoose.

Ponos didn't seem too happy, on the other hand. As he threatened the Tyrannitar, Ride scooted further away from the head of the large dragon. He did not want to be in the dinosaur's way when it decides to come completely out of the ground. Ride then attempted to answer the Tyrannitar's question. "Well, Zangoose are said to be pretty aggressive, so... I dunno." The Breloom shrugged then turned to Lux. "Say, why is your dad so jumpy anyway?"
