Closed The Ruins of Alph

"If you have a problem killing humans, there is a forest a day's walk away."

Halan glances at the group, eyes colder than ice. He walks over to Edward and kneels down next to him, tapping him on the shoulder. With a single look, he tells Ed that he would like to speak to him later.

He already knows my stand on killing humans. He also knows about the one human I will not kill. We have had this conversation before about...her...and he knows that if he tries to harm her, I will kill him instantly. Heh, what kind of friend am I?

"Forest! You know the humans have taken over the forest as if they own it," Alec scoffed. "How long do you think it is until it's cut down?"

"And we're too different from the pokemon usually found in the forest," Coldfoot added. "You'll be exhausted by the time you get there, and then..."

Coldfoot and Alec exchanged looks. "...they'll stuff you into those little red-and-white balls of theirs and expect you to treat them like a legendary," Alec finished. "You're either with us or you'll end up with them. Leave now if that's what you want. We're not going to feed our enemies. Otherwise, just learn not to get hit. They can't aim at you if they don't know you're there, and they can't hit you if they can't aim. A war effort needs more than just soldiers, anyway. Food-gatherers, healers, all those other guys nobody will remember. And the pure liabilities, naturally," he added, nodding at the injured ninetales and pregnant espeon. "The ones who'll need the most food and rest but will contribute the least. If they're smart, which I have reasons to doubt, they might be useful, but otherwise it'll be hard to justify keeping them around."

Edward smiled at the Espeon again, then turned back to the group.

"Yes, kill. We can gather support from the wild Pokemon we may come across, mount sneak attacks on the human cities, and the like. And just because they have guns doesn't mean they can beat us! Can They call down bolts of lightning, breath fire, control the sea? I think not. We are the superior race, and it's time for a bit of... cleansing." He hissed, showing yellowed teeth in a wide grin. "And as for those who side with the humans... They will have to go as well. No mercy for traitors."

He listened to Alec speak then, nodding his head. He agreed - mostly - with the Smeargle's words, but he wanted to keep the pretty Espeon around. Kits were the future after all, and if he didn't kill the one she was carrying now, then he could train it to be a solider, like the rest of them. He smiled.

"But...," Yua replied to the Lucario, "well, it's not that I'm not willing, but... I've never... battled before or anything..."

Hearing what the Persian and Smeargle had to say, she then continued, "Um, I'll try to do what I can, but even then... it's not like my, um, species is notable for... anything."

"I expect you want me to leave then...?" Rurenai asked gruffly, "You expect that I can't fight as well just because I'm injured...?" He attempted to walk forward, but then stumbled and simply gave up.

"OK, maybe you're right... Maybe I can't fight until this, this... thing is healed... But that doesn't mean I'm going to leave... No..."

This actually disappointed him. The human woman had framed him... caused this injury. The rest that had chased him shot without knowing the truth. He would've loved to get his revenge on all of them...

Halan glanced over at the Ninetales, studying the fox's aura. He sensed anger and revenge in the wisps, sensing the rage against human kind. He then looked at the injury it's self. Agianst his usual judgement, he moved toward the Ninetales and kneeled next to him.

"Hold still."

That was his only words spoken as he closely studies the wound. During his time with his old trainer, bless his soul, he's learn quite a matter of things that would help along the way. He then glances around the dump and scowls at it's uselessness. No where in sight was there a river. the only place for that was where the humans roamed the forest. He looked down at the Ninetales once more.

"This will need cleaning..."

He looks at Edward, ear flicking.

"I'll take the bottles and find water. Hold down the fort while I'm gone. And try to find something that would work as a bandage. I'd hate to see a pokemon die of a mere flesh wound."

With that, he gets to his feet and walks back over to the car, slipping through the window to grab a discarded bag he found. It was old and weathered, but still usable. He opened the bag and counted the bottles that he and ed found earlier. He nods, slipping out of the car.

"I'll be back Edward. Try not to eat anyone while I'm gone. We need the numbers"

Halan then makes his way for the forest area, picking up the speed with ExtremeSpeed, cutting the time in between largely.

((DO YOU PEOPLE HEAR THE UNUSUAL CLACKING ON THE SIDE OF THE WALL))

They're talking about battling. This should be interesting...

Yuurah's claws were still. His ears pricked to hear more.

"Try not to eat anyone while I'm gone."

He won't need to do that... if he tries to eat anyone, guess who'll be eating him...

Yuurah was pretty much the only one who knew that he had an evil appearance but calm disposition.

I'm getting hungry... I just need to catch one of them alone...

((Cue... something.))

So now she had to choose between her trainer and.. these Pokemon that she didn't know. She didn't want to kill him, or anyone.. but he wouldn't hold it against her, trying to survive... yes he would. Fighting, hurting humans. But how would she be able to fight, anyway?
Nina sighed.
"Okay.. so we fight. In any case, though, how will I be any help for you guys at all? I was a pretty good fighter when my.. trainer owned me, but I'm freaking blind. Sure, I can sense some stuff, but.."

Freezefire frowned. Were they so oblivious that none noticed her... Well, she would just have to speak up, then. She opened her mouth, and paused. Actually, it might be better to just follow, and appear when she had to. Freezefire fell back behind the others, and watched.

When? When do we hunt? When will we be able to kill?

"Cleansing? That's a rather interesting way to put it." Fero glanced at the Persian with the metal leg, "But something troubles me: Though the humans may not be able to, as you said summon lightning, breathe fire, and control the sea, I'm sure that they will have pokemon to do such things. Together, we may be powerful, but I worry that the humans could overpower us if they used their guns and pokemon."

You think thoughts of the weak. I can hunt any pokemon or human that crosses me.

"And that's why you're staying dormant for now."

Yuurah growled. How could these Pokemon be so... unobservant?! No one ever noticed him. Of course, his black pelt was good for camouflage, but... when being social, it was a weakness. He had his nose on the Persian right now... he revealed himself to the others by sight, crossing his arms and having a slightly majestic air.

((Everybody hates Weaviles. >=D But I'm going to be benevolent.))

"Well, I think we can think about how to... fight the humans, some other time.", Yua said, going along but not quite used to that idea, "For now... we've got to find food we can eat. We have one injured, and one pregnant, and then the rest of us, so that's a lot of food. How about... we square off into groups?", she suggested.

It was at that point, Yua heard a growl. It wasn't far away, either. She froze up in fear. She looked around and saw a Weavile in their group that certainly wasn't there before.

"U-umm... I think someone else wants... to join... us...", she quietly said, indicating the Weavile in question and figuring there wouldn't be any other reason for a Pokemon to suddenly stand in with their group.

Yuurah didn't sneer. He kept a straight face. "If you're talking about humans...."--it was easy to notice a natural hissing in his voice, like steam escaping a geyser--"And attacking them, I could go with that. I've been a bit hungry for the past few days...." His head dropped a bit, but he let it tilt so that his eyes were still fixed on Yua.

Freezefire looked up sharply. Another Weavile! Should she attack, or.. she faded back into the shadows, and glared at the other Weavile. It smelled male, so...
