• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Ultimate Trainer Takes Over!

((I'll be in whatever class iphillip1's character is teaching.))
Aria nodded quickly. "It's also a way to strengthen them, and let them evolve into more advanced forms."

((some people could have the 2nd and 1rst blocks as well as 3rd and 4th block in the schedule flipped, perhaps? And I think Wyatt will be in that class too.))

"Someone who has become one with their Pokemon." Wyatt said softly from his seat in the back.

He ran a hand over Berlin's Pokeball, which he had slipped into his pocket, wondering what it would be like to be a master... Be one with his Pokemon.

((Whatever you say. So, uh, lets say Zelda is now in that (Lehrer) class, okay? Because I'm befuddled at this point.))
Zelda waited for a few seconds and called out,
"You can define it pretty much however you want. You could be the pokemon Champion, or have all the Pokemon or something, or being one with your Pokemon, like he said."
She pointed at Wyatt and breathed deeply, having said her whole answer in one breath.

"Both wrong! There is NO definition of pokemon master. Anyone can be a pokemon master. Even that Jerk of a master and Queen, Liza Deston. But I digress. Now we will be starting our first sample battle. You! Zelda. You are against me."

((Um... Philly? I answered your first question before you asked someone to answer it because you didn't want to use Link))

I thought my answer was pretty good- wait, a battle? Crap. Well, crap.
Zelda had nothing against Pokemon battles, but still didn't like it. Katniss and Kitty likes fighting, but she was afraid they're get seriously hurt by a wild Pokemon or something. She stood up and tossed Katniss' pokeball. The Togekiss looked confused for a moment, then floated a few feet up into the air and waited for it to start. Zelda doubted she'd do too well, even in a sample battle.
Okay, the annoying strategy. Right.

Okay.. crud.
"Kat, Air Slash!"
The Togekiss' wings flapped harder, becoming a blur. The papers on Zelda's desk whirled around and fell on the floor. She seemed to throw something, and a ball of wind whirled at the Dragonite's face.
C'mon! Flinch.Flinch.Flinch.

Zelda had to duck to avoid being hit in the face by a Togekiss. Katniss squealed and ran into a desk before regaining her balance and flying again. There was a gash on her wing from the Dragon Claw, but she didn't appear to notice.
"Sorry, Mr. L, I can pay for this. Kat, Grass Knot!"
Katniss began humming. A few tiles on the floor cracked and huge vines burst through the floor, then began to wrap around Dragonite's legs. They twisted in a huge knot and pulled down hard.

Dragonite struggled to get up. Ruby Ignored the apology, he was too busy strategizing what to do next. He decided to do this "Dragonite, use Meteoric Swarm on the vines, then follow through and attack Togekiss with it too!" Dragonite broke through the vines then barely hit Togekiss with the attack. That was it, it was over. "Very good Zelda, I like your strategizing." He glanced over to Link to see that he was watching.

Aria watched intently at the battle. She hoped she went next. Something just told her that this would be a good battle, and maybe she would get to take part in one, too.

Wyatt watched the fight, absently sketching in his leatherbound book. He looked down at what he'd drawn after the battle was over. He'd drawn the Togekiss battling the Dragonite. hm. Again, he rubbed the Pokeball in his pocket, feeling the warmth it gave off under his fingers. He knew that Berlin could take the dragon-type down fast, but didn't want to seem cocky...

(OK now I'm lost. Right...Gwen's in pokémon battling, Wilson's teaching some other students, and Will's in one of the classes most have in the afternoon ('cus his older and there'll be multiple classes and more students and such))

Gwen, Towy now back out of his pokéball and in her arms, was watching the battle with a mixture of awe and worry. Awe, because it was impressive, but double the worry, because not only was she concerned about the battling pokémon, but she also felt than she couldn't match up to either of those fighting. It was made all the worse when she realised that not only was this the girl Link had the crush on, but that link was here has well! She managed to keep her composure, but she slunk backwards slightly, trying to stay unseen.
Mespirit emerged from it's pokéball and hovered behind Gwen.
"You think I'm crazy, don't you mespirit?" challenged Gwen
Not at all, responded the pokémon, most people - and pokémon for that matter - do odd things when in love. You actually seem normal compared to most, since you can keep it in
"Well I couldn't do it without you"
Maybe that's true, but I have had people do crazier things than you have even with me around them. Now stop worrying and pay attention to what you're supposed to be learning

Ned watched the battle as it came to a standoff. Neither Pokémon was attacking, but Ned could still feel the nervous tension of a battle in the air. Maybe they were tired. Or maybe they just weren't there. At any rate, he eagerly waited for the next attack.

Chris had just got to school. He has the same classes as Mysti, so he quietly snuck into Mr. L.'s room and sat down, trying not to be seen, but Mysti saw him.
