    I was kind of considering it, but on the other hand I don't want things to be *totally* inaccessible to people who haven't actually read the comic. Forced typing quirks might really irritate those people.

    Then again I'm not giving up my Pesterlog modposts, and those would be about as irritating, so perhaps it's moot.

    It was happening because he had a malformed tag on that parcitular signature image. For some reason he has that image in his random series twice, so the problem appeared to only happen half the time that image appeared in his signature.

    It is now fixed.

    I am! =] I'm still a little confused on some of the stuff, like cooking and EX Gems... but I'm still enjoying it and I imagine there's enough to the game that it doesn't matter so much if I don't have everything all figured out right away.

    Hmmm... browsing through your ample profile and avoiding obviously theme-named pokémon, this is what comes to mind (sig move/attribute or both-wise):

    - Something metronome and Don Quixote-related for Aldonza
    - Something for Pinsir, idek
    - Something like what you might expect for Eleven
    - Something blood-related for Blood on Fire
    - Something Eridan-related for Qasvin

    Maybe you could try to work both of the possibilities. Something like nobody really understanding what they're after but assuming one or the other.

    Now that you mention it, I recall that there are variations on that matter. It's ocasionally said to hypnotize people, it's ocasionally said to have a human form, it's ocasionally said to shapeshift freely... You know, it's all oral tradition, so, not many factoids are "official".

    Speaking of which, there's also variation on why exactly they sneak into parties. While some say they're just after some love like anybody else, others say they're trying to lure humans away to eat them.

    Well, if that helps, if I recall correctly, human form encantados have a couple of sticking points in that they have distinctively long noses and, most notably, water spouts (or whatever those holes are meant to be) on their heads. Usually they try covering it with hats.

    Just "boto" refers to a variety of similar looking animals; the Amazon river dolphin is more precisely the "boto cor-de-rosa", "cor-de-rosa" meaning "pink".

    Encantado is farther off the mark; it refers to a shapeshifting dolphin from Tupi-Guarani folklore. Can't recall right now whether they could shapeshift as they please or only take human form, but they're said to sneak into parties while in human form. The word also literally means "under a spell" in Portuguese.

    Excadrill was cool until I found out gamefreak made it 2'4" and then I was very disappointed.
