:D! You should check Jekyll out. I'm it's hyde. Seriously, I am.
Idk, I can sort of excuse his bs because he seems to do it just to get under people's skin and not because he actually thinks that way. I mean, if I didn't know that, it would piss me off, but I know him as a character first, so well. When he does things like that I see it as a form of masochism - him getting others to hate him, you know. Because that's what he does. And he isn't actually racist or misogynistic.
They don't believe in suing?! What?! That is the strangest philosophy I have ever heard of. Why in the world don't they believe in suing?
You fall asleep when you're stuffed? xD You're so strange, you know that? I can fall asleep anywhere too, but I have to be exhausted. I've fallen asleep during a movie twice: one time I was awake for 24 straight hours, which isn't that long for me but the movie was hella boring (it was the recent Robin Hood movie), and the other was the Bucket List and I was exhausted for reasons I can't remember... ah well. But never a movie I really wanted to see or that was just super awesome. Worst comes to worst I pause it and finish later. But I guess I can always pause my movies, eh. :P
Well, TWW is an American show, and most of the actors aren't phenomenally gorgeous. There's also the actors on Glee, whom I consider to be beautiful because I love them, but are also atypical for TV. Pretty much it's a matter of what you watch. Benedict could get away with it easily. I could list TV shows with less-than-supermodel actors/tresses for you but I'd feel awkward judging people so much. |D Ah well. Just take my word on it. I watch probably every show, at least all the good ones. So.
The Buffy memory-loss episode is equal to the musical episode, imo. It's just that hilarious. Randy. Oh god. xD God, now I need him to ahve done that with Firefly... and Dollhouse! Ahhhg. Have you seen Dollhouse?!
Erhg, I don't think I can laugh at violence towards animals. Tongue-in-cheek homophobia is a case-by-case thing, but violence towards animals is one of the most triggering things for me. :\ Did you ever see The Butterfly Effect? The movie? If not, it has a really, really terrible scene in it in which one of the characters puts a dog in a sack and burns it alive. You don't see the dog dying because it's in the sack but I can't watch the movie because of that. I mean, I saw it, one time, and it upset me to the point that I can't watch it again, despite it being otherwise a fascinating and rather brilliant movie that's worth rewatching. :\ If that scene weren't in it, it would be among my favourite movies.
Hmm, I don't think that's necessarily true. Although I'm not sure in what way you're using the term passive. X-men has probably over 100 characters (probably as in, there are probably thousands of characters, or somewhere in between 100-1000, basically a shitload), so it's pretty unlikely all the females have er, passive powers. I'm not sure how to give examples because I'm not sure what you mean by passive, though.
Just to clarify about Misfits, all the characters get sort of sucky abilities (or sucky to a point) that are created as caricatures of their personality. That girl's ability is pretty :\ but to be fair, at the end of the second season, they've all sold their abilities and are getting new ones, so. There's that. (I think it's meant as a reflection of character growth, how their abilities no longer match who they were when they got them.)
I keep saying someday I'll watch it properly, because I also feel there's a huge gap in my knowledge, and I hate that feeling. But it's so looong. Sigh. I have the same feeling for things like... idk... Star Trek. But I'll never watch that because it's impossible to get into that fandom. It's endless. Dx
Actually, the entirety of TWW finished downloading, buuuuut I've become stuck on around ep 3 or so and switched to watching Breaking Bad. >>; *naughty* I was waiting for it to finish and well, BB is just goddamn good. Like, seriously, it's good. You have no idea. It's like, sort of like Dexter, in the style, but the seasons are shorter, like British shows, and much less sex/kissing. And the characters are all awesome throughout the seasons, although in the latest season it seems like they're derailing a bit, but I'm hoping they'll get back on track. They've jsut finished season 3 and it's only 6-7 episodes a season and they're all fucking brilliant so you should go watch it like, now. Seriously. It's GOOD.
