As soon as Eve noticed the dark drops she got ready for battle. Then as the dark drops formed into monsters she took aim with her bow and got ready to fire.

First Eve shot a Holy Arrow, effective against dark creatures like these towards the skeletal lion who cried out in pain as the Arrow hit him. Eve shot another Holy Arrow but wasn't so lucky this time, the skeletal lion jumped out of the way and pounced on Eve. Eve screamed for help and Lavender immediately shot a beam of fire at the skeletal lion.

The skeletal lion looked around in surprise at the lavender chocobo who could use magic unlike normal yellow chocobos. Now he knew most of Eve's attack methods and could now dodge if he saw Eve or Lavender charging for an attack. However he looked very weak as if one more attack could kill him off. Suddenly Eve had an idea! Eve used a healing spell called Life that usually would bring something back to life but instead it killed the skeletal lion as it was undead.

'YES!' Eve shouted in victory before realizing that there were many more enemies to fight.

Malbarad's arrow crashed into the snake - and straight through. He cursed, and then felt for a pendant on his wrist. After holfing it in his fist for a moment, his bow began to glow with a yellowish-white light. He fitted another arrow, and this time it too glowed. As he fired it, it ran through the snake, causing it to writhe in pain. He hit again with a third arrow, and then a sphere of white light erupted from beside him and engulfed it, shattering the creature out of existence.
"Thanks," the ranger muttered to Raeneudd, who had launched the blast of magical energy.
The two turned to the other creatures.

Eve turned around just in time to see a giant spider creeping towards her. Eve pretended not to notice and then struck with her Holy Arrows and Holy Bow. An arrow shot through the air and hitting the spider right on the right front leg.

Before the spider had recovered from confusion Eve started chanting/charging for a healing spell to heal her and Lavender. The spider ran forwards slowly but as Eve was chanting for a powerful spell Curaga she was taking quite a while. The spider finally got close enough to attack and did.

Sinking his vampire like fangs into Eve's Armor she Eve screamed out in pain but continued to chant. Eve finished chanting and used Curaga. Her and Lavender were healed nearly to full health but Lavender was never really hurt. However Curaga doesn't heal poison and Eve started to feel weak from the spider's poison bite. Eve shot one last Holy Arrow and the spider dropped down dead.

Eve crawled over to Lavender and out of her purse she grabbed an Antidote. She drank some and immediately felt better and ready for battle but still rather worn out from the last few battles.

'I'm so tired' Eve told the group as she stood holding on to Lavender. It was too bad there was no cure for Energy loss but sleep and Curagaja.

((I'm just being pedantic, but I'd like to point out that the correct term for releasing an arrow is shooting. Firing an arrow means setting it alight, and then shooting it.))

Cas was confronted by what appeared to be a demonic human skeleton wielding a huge blade. It swung its immense weapon at Cas, who didn't have enough time to dodge, but the blade hit his cloak, and he felt only a slight nudge. He called out for Spektra, and the rainbow-coloured beetle flew at the skeleton and grew slightly larger, covering the skeleton's face and blocking its vision. At the same time, Cas shot a bolt of energy at the sword, causing it to fly to his own hand. Using both hands, he swung the sword at the skeleton and hit it, making is shatter to pieces, breaking nearly every bone as Spektra disappeared back into his cloak.

Malbarad launched arrow after arrow at whatever target was closest, and soon ran low. Quickly, Raeneudd muttered a spell, which caused all of his spent arrows to return to his quiver. Herself, she launched a blast of green energy at another shape - an oversized skeletal crab - which was crushed by the blast.
"Death spells still have an impact. Interesting," she commented.

Ned looked around. Everyone was fighting. He peered around, for it looked as if all the enemies were taken. As he was running up to a giant spider, an abnormally large rat launched itself at him. Ned quickly sidestepped, but not in time. His sleeve was torn, and in place of it there was a bloody cut. It hit my left arm... I can still fight.
He took out a hand-and-a-half sword and quickly swiped at the rat. It guarded the blow with its tail, surprisingly not breaking it. He took a step back and took a two-handed grip. Sidestepping around the rat, he sliced it in the side of the stomach. It whipped its tail out in retaliation and slammed Ned on the side, knocking him sideways. "Enough!"
He turned to face the rat. He attacked the rat's tail, as it was protecting its face. He parried with the tail until he could knock it back. Quickly spinning his sword, he flipped to a backhand grip. He half stabbed, half sliced the rat's neck, and it fell over with a thud. "Tough rodent..."
He walked off to face another enemy.

Kinova watched quietly as the others made their way into the cave, vanishing into the darkness. They were ready for a fight, be it with magic or the sword. Kinova had no such form of attack, or defense; she sighed, shaking her head. "Well, I'll just stay here," being useless, she thought, "Keep an eye on Arylett, you know..."

But they had already disappeared. She turned to the Queen, slightly embarrassed that the others had all gone storming off to defeat the beast that had captured her, while she, Kinova, did sod all. "Are you sure you're okay, your Maj.?"

KP continued into the cave without any resistance, due to an invisibility spell he had used.

With his arrows returning to his quiver, Malbarad was now able to produce a stream of arrows, each flying scant seconds after the last. His shots didn't fully defeat many creatures; instead they were wounded enough to slow them, giving others the chance to finish them off.
Raeneudd was taking advangage of this, finishing many opponents, as well as watching the older man from getting attacked himself. She was now varying here spells, in order not to get bored. She sent a skeletal tortoise into non-existence with another green blast, and ripped a massive wasp apart by causing it to - to any observers - spontaneously implode. That time, however, two of Malbarad's arrows were also caught in the attack, and disappeared with the wasp. Raeneudd decided after that to stick to destructive light - responsible for obliterating a skeletal wolf - and the green death blasts.

Ned continued to fight off monsters, some easily killed because of arrow wounds. "Hey, Philly! We could use your" he whispered this part, "invisible help!"

KP slashed at one of the enemys. He then blew one up with magic, and continued to attack.

Ned gradually backed over to Princess Eve while fighting. "How are we going to get out of this?" he inquired.
He continued to fight the randomly skeletal enemies, occasionally fighting a live one.

KP moved on and then sent a spell back towards the group, causing a large explosion in the middle.

Ned whirled around to face whoever made that explosion. "Oh, Philly, it's just you. Nice one, that took out quite a few of them."
He turned o see more enemies coming. "I suggest that we head in that direction. Those monsters must be coming from a powerful source. The Horrid Thing."
Ned started slowly advancing in that direction. But first, he slathered some acid milkshake on his sword. "One scratch will take them out now," he said to no one in particular.

Sapphire hurried to Arylett's room for the report, but she was not there. "Oh, no, what happened?" She cried to herself.

Negai sniffed the floor, and barked. Something was wrong; he was normally quiet.

Hoshikaze didn't react.

"What's going on here?" Sapphire asked. "Where are all the others?"

(I'll be here on and off, but don't expect to see me too much.)

Arylett wasn't paying too much attention to what the others were doing... her head was still spinning, still spinning from what had happened between her and the Horrid Thing.

Madness. It was pure madness and anguish.

She just... all she wanted was to lay down.

Then she heard Kinova's voice...

"I'm... still a bit woozy from it all."

((We're in the cave that the Horrid Thing threw her out of, advancing rooms to get to him, fighting various monsters in this one.))

Princess Eve took all her might and rushed forwards, pushing the monsters back with the spell she was using, Safeguard. Nothing could come near her and she couldn't go near anyone, it was an invisible barrier.

The monsters were harder and more further on and finally the Safeguard broke and the monsters started attacking Eve. Once again Eve summoned her magical energy and unleashed it having used the spell Holy. Some of the weaker monsters from before were still standing but the stronger ones still standed.

Eve used Holy again and mostly all of the monsters were gone for now but of course more kept coming and Eve couldn't use Holy forever.

'We need to get to the middle of this!' Eve said while blasting more monsters with Holy. 'We need to find the source and defeat it, then the monsters will go and we might even find a shard, you never know.'

KP teleported to right in front of Eve, and started slashing at all of the enemys with his Electric Blade. By this point he was starting to fall in love with her.

( In love XD I'm fine with it and all so... Maybe we could have a RSP like system when you ask to be friends/crushes etc and the other person has to agree and then it's official)

Eve watched as KP slashed up enemies with his Electric Blade looking somewhat admirably at the particular way he slashed, not noticing a huge worm towering above her.

The huge worm opened it's mouth to bite Eve but Lavender came running up to save Eve who still seemed to be watching KP. With a strong chocobo kick the worm fell back, hurt.

'~Eve~stop~starring~at~KP~and~get~battling~' Lavender said in Windian the only language she could speak that Eve also could speak.

Eve realised how obvious she was being and continued battling but this time battling rather dramatically, shooting Holy arrows with huge arm movements as if she was trying to get KP's attention which she already had.

The worm died suddenly, without being hurt the slightest except for the chocobo kick which wasn't powerful enough to kill it.

Somehow all around Eve and KP evil monsters were dieing.
