Once a trainer has opened an account with the league bank and been approved for a license, they are assigned storage space in the league's computer network for their pokémon and items. Their activities in the league are also recorded and made available as public records, should the validity of their pokémon ever need to be verified.
All approved trainers are required to create and maintain their own profile. Failure to do so will result in the inability to participate in most ASB activities.
A profile must contain at least the following three sections:
1. Active Squad - Up to ten pokémon can be assigned to your active squad at once. Include all information on all these pokémon, including attributes like signature moves, in this section.
2. Stored Pokémon - An unlimited number of pokémon can be kept in storage in your computer account. Include all information on these pokémon, including held items, in this section.
3. Item Inventory - All items not currently equipped to a pokémon are stored here. List these items, including the post in which you purchased them, here.
In addition to these required fields, it is also recommended that you use your profile to keep track of the following:
1. Pokémon Approval Links - A pokémon's approval link points to the post where it was approved. These are required to do various things with your pokémon in the league.
2. Battle Experience - Most pokémon require battle experience to evolve. You will need to provide evidence of this experience in the form of links to battles in which they participated.
You may format your profile however you like, provided that it makes clear all the required information. There are a couple of final guidelines to profile creation, however, that everyone must adhere to:
1. When restarting your account, do NOT create a new profile post. Instead, edit your old one to reflect your new team and inventory.
2. While you may decorate your profile as you please, all images must be no larger than sprites in order to decrease load times as much as possible.
3. For the same reason, deactivate your signature when posting your profile. This can be done by using the advanced post view and unchecking the box in the Post Options section that says, "Show Your Signature."
You will be required to present the link to your profile whenever you issue or accept a challenge and at other times in the course of normal league activities. This link should be to your profile post exclusively; the address for your specific post can be obtained by clicking the number in the upper right-hand corner of your post and copying the address in the new tab or window that pops up.
